I am a pretty cool girl, i am not going to lie...and i have dated guys that don't really care to play games. i have alot of different interests...i am a mix of a girly girl and a nerd...But i am slightly embarrased that i play this game. I did date this one guy who isn't exactly your average guy and when he found out he flipped and totally stopped talking to me. Is play WoW really that bad?

It is if you let it rule your life--or even take a significant part in it.
If your potential guy is concerned, (WoW has gotten a lot of bad press), you may have to convince him that it (hopefully) does not detract from the rest of your life and playing it is not an uncontrolled habit or need.
Note, however, it is far too easy with any of those games (and a number of other things) to spend more time than you realize on it. And if you are an adult living an adult life (ie: full time job, adult responsibilities like keeping up a house, running errands, etc.), even an hour or two daily can cut seriously into those other obligations--including quality time with your guy.

No way! My GF plays World Of Warcraft! I think it's great, she tells me about her guild and the crazy stuf they do online. She has a lot of fun playing. I do not play MMORPGs but I have no problem with her playing what so ever. Of course there are people who all they do is play WoW and that would be a problem but she has a great job and always make time for each other. So you need to hook up with someone who has similar intrest like yours.

He may have flipped out because he knows how addictive that game can be. Maybe he was worried you were addicted or something. Just ask him why he reacted like that. I wouldn't really mind but if it interfered with my relationship, then I would start to worry.

I played football threw highschool and never really played any video games but if the girl was hot and she played some dumb game who cares... SHes Hot.

I'm a gamer myself, though not a PC gamer. if I found out a girl I liked played WoW, I wouldn't mind as long as she doesn't play it obsessively and still finds time for me. that's just me. I'm just not your average guy.

No its not.I play a bunch of computer games.Just like video games.not much a big difference.
Who cares what they think.if they stop talking to you just because you play WoW. then they're just completley stupid
