Been there still doin that! maybe i could be wrong, but whats da point getn rid of one chemical and replace'n it with another. at least ur body was use to the other, now u want it to adapt to a new way of survive'n. I am not gonna tell u go exercise, do yoga, take up a hobby cuz if ubeen there only sarcastic remarks could posibile make that advice sound convince'n. So just try to let urself get use to work'n without what its been familiar with 4 so long. I personally leave lights on when i start wig'n on shadows, turn up music or tv when i start hear'n things, and seperate myself from those i believe are out to ruin my world(with the understand'n its nutn personel 2 them) and when ur body starts to adjust ur mind tends to follow. good luck

The fact that you have admitted this issue is your first big step in recovery. One thing you need to look at is you came from hell (your addictions) and came out with a family, husband and your life and that is a big blessing.
Although I have never done any drugs I would say your reaction is normal for all you have gone through. I would seek some form of counseling for this matter. Going through this type of pain could lead to more addiction issues for you. Look at life as a blessing and do your best to make it even better now. Talk to a local mental health counselor for advice as to why you feel this way. Good luck!

It's comforting knowing I am not the only person out there that has some paranoia from time to time. Mine just sort of goes away on its own. Very paranoid as hell yesterday and the day before. But not today. I'm not sure what techniques to suggest. Get out, get a few things done, you'll feel better.

I have found that only God can give real peace, and give you the wisdom to overcome your fears. He wants to give you a future with hope. There is a scripture that has given me strength, 2 Timothy 1:7 God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.
God can give you His joy to be your strength. He can give you a merry heart that does good like a medicine. He can heal your mind. With God all things are possible. I suggest that you direct your energies into developing a trust relationship with Jesus Christ the Son of God who died on the cross to give you eternal life. When you put your life in God's hands and choose to trust him, you will not have to give in to the paranoia. God's perfect love can cast out ALL FEAR!

it sounds really painful, and scary.

try AA or NA for a year, to help you learn about what is normal and what is healthy. if that doesn't make your life better, a therapist may help some, but AA/NA is cheaper and more likely to help.
