i need to no plz dont just ssay they arent because there has to be some way in there chemical structure or otherwise that makes them similar. no rules anything you can think of

This is for the person who says that CARMEL is actually "carAmel,".... Carmel and CarAmel are two different things... you're the dope. Carmel is chewy and a bit hard... CarAmel is more milky and thin.. .like the stuff you find in most candy bars... people dont eat carAmeled Apples... think about it. Anyway. CARMEL and Vanilla are both very sugary... that is what they have in common.

Carmel is a pretty wealthy town, so I'd guess a lot of vanilla type people live there.

caramel is roasted sugar, Vannila can be sweet, but its extract is without sugar, until it is added. Vanilla is an herbal extract, caramel is a mutation of sugar or sugars. I dont think they are alike. They are both flavorings, is all I can think of, You should re read your textbook to find out

Well, one is a plant. One is caramelized sugar, that comes from a plant.

They are both organic compounds. (ie CHO)

And they both have an A and L in them.

Kinda like comparing a Watermelon and Rhinoceros though.

they both smell really good, which means they have ( what is called in chemistry) aromatic molecules
