would a better job be with a BSc Engineering or BSc Business? i'm not sure what to do. i've been given advice for engineering but i love the business.

I would say that you could do equally well in either field. Starting salaries are higher in engineering than they are in business, but in the long run, engineering salaries don't increase as much as business salaries, so you end up with more money in business. Every major company has a different way of starting people out. Some have training programs for their new hires, in which they rotate you through various departments and have you go through courses to train you on their product lines and customers, while other hire everyone at a particular entry-level position and move them into other jobs as they become ready to make those moves.

You could get hired at a temp service for well-roundedness. Build your resume up with a little pan handling. Become a leader as the official "fry timer person" in fast food (leading by example of course). And take that, along with your BS in Business, and get a great paying, high benefit job as a stockboy at Cosco.

Ok, that was a little depictive and sarcastic. To be honest, you're looking at either a sales job (if you're talented in closing deals... either real estate, insurance, or volume product) OR you get an entry level corporate job and climb up!
