Bacterias already present can be selectively made to breed. That does not mean that we are creating bacteria. Create bacterias from nothing then claim to be creators.
Man is such that he cannot create a single eye, kidney , hair that grows.... he only ties to repair them. You cannot even think to compare yourselves with the ONE CREATOR who just has to say BE and the things get created.

How do we know the bacteria are not smart enough to know they have been engineered? The bacteria could be smarter than all of us combined.

There's no evidence of such tampering so for now I'm going to discount it.
Although it is still quite possible that aliens did uplift us it seems unlikely and unnecessary. There's also the fact that we know humans could have evolved naturally.

Hmmm...we might think we are, but maybe we aren't. Like the Grateful Dead said, "For this is all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago." When things get rough, I remind myself that it's entirely possible that I don't exist at all. It opens up a metaphysical can of worms, but then again, so does watching "I Heart Huckabees."

No, a guy called Fred created us, 5000 years from now, but he created a time machine and went back 3.2 billion years into the past and took a wizz. Violá, the first cell was formed from a closed time-loop.

Did you know the word 'Alien' means "foreigner"? In the bible it does mention "aliens", meaning a person coming from a foreign country/ city. I asked my niece once, that did she know that her Grandad was an alien :). She looked at me and said "What!" and looked really freaked out! I said 'yes he is... He from another country...'

God spoke this creation into existence and then created man in his own image. Anything else is a lie. The first line of the bible says 'In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth'. That's the one I'm believing.
