Last night, I dreamed that I removed both of my kneecaps (no pain, no blood) and ate one of them for a crunchy snack. After I ate one, I looked at the one that was left and became alarmed, thinking to myself, "It looks so perfect. I'll never be able to get another one; I better not eat it."

Quite freaky, yet so intriguing.

This may mean that you are willing to take risks in life, yet are grounded enough that you know when to quit and play it safe.

According to the activation-synthesis theory of dreams, the dream probably has no meaning at all. (Sorry, that may not be what you wanted to hear.)

Although dreams are influenced by our thoughts throughout the course of the day, this does not mean they are special messages to us that we should carefully consider.

Here's one perspective:

"Activation Synthesis Theory is a neurobiological theory of dreams, put forward by James Allan Hobson and Robert McCarley in 1977, which states that dreams are a random event caused by firing of neurons in the brain. This random firing sends signals to the body's motor systems, but because of a paralysis that occurs during REM sleep, the brain is faced with a paradox. It synthesizes a narrative by drawing on memory systems in an attempt to make sense of what it has experienced."

To dream of your knees, symbolizes a level of support your may be receiving. It also indicates that you are feeling very emotional. Feelings of inadequacy and issues of power/control also come into play. You may have more than you can handle.

You are eating away your "support"... watch out for people who are helping you in your life, you may not identify them. Be acceptive of all help you get regardless of whether they are really helpful or not. You will eventually receive the real support.
