Yes you can.

Mix the stuffing ingredients together minus the liquid .

Set the liquid aside in a separate container.

Keep both the liquid and stuffing in the refrigerator until you are ready to stuff the turkey the next day.

Add the liquid and stuff turkey as directed in your recipe

This is the way my grandmother, mom and I have been successfully doing it for years.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

It could get soggy but then you can bake it dry, so no problem. Or put all of it except the broth together the day before and then add the broth on Thanksgiving and stir.

Either way, make sure you refrigerate it!

Yes you can make it a day ahead but remember to not stuff the bird until you are ready to put it in the oven.

Not completely ... but you can prep it (vegies, bread/croutons, seasonings), but do NOT add any of your liquids (butter or fat, eggs, broth) until just before you are going to stuff your bird or baking dish.

I suppose you could put it all together and freeze it until you are ready to use it, but that's not saving you any time.
