Currently i am a teenager and i have the worst skin on earth. I would really like a list of products to deal with this or ideas or diet or... ANYTHING!!

My skin seems to be continuously dry even though i apply clinque stuff that is meant to get rid of dead skin, and i apply mosturizer to my face 2 times a day. I also wash my face 2 times a day with 2 different types of products-- Neutrogena face wash and origins wash. I DO wear face makeup everyday to school but not on weekends or after school. I AM a regularly dehydrated person, but maintain a pretty normal diet other than that.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! someone help me!

You are doing WAAAYY to much to your skin. All you need to do is wash your skin in the morning and night with your cleanser. This is what is happening to your skin. You wash it sooo much that your skin doesn't want to become dry so it puts out more oil which in turn gives you the acne. You are drying out parts of your skin so that is why you are using moisturizer. At your age you don't need moisturizer if you have acne. All you need is a good cleanser. But at this point you have to wait a couple of weeks for your skin to balance out. Mary Kay was the best for me. I happen to go to a makeup party and the consultant gave me what I needed and proactiv didn't even work for me because I had too much acne. Don't over do it. But once you change your routine let your face have some time to balance out.

I am a nurse and very cautious (some would say "suspicious") of all that's advertised on the internet, magazines, etc. I've never subscribed to a website newsletter until months ago, and I'm very glad I did. The website contains accurate, helpful information about skin care and various skin conditions. I even bought a few products and they're awesome (thought I'd never say something like this!) The website is owned by a medical practitioner. Go to:
http://www.romancing-the-soap.com
Contact the owner, if you wish. The products offered are fantastic and they do work. Beware, however, that several merchants out there MAY sell the same stuff a few dollars cheaper but it's products past their prime and will not work. This website owner keeps the botanicals in stock for a few weeks only, so that what you get is potent, effective, and will deliver on its promises. Also, they're a lot cheaper than all the other useless stuff advertised that gets sold at highway robbery prices! Extra bonus: 100% guarantee, no matter what. Can't beat that.

You need to start by making sure that you are a regularly hydrated person instead of dehydrated. That might make a huge difference. If your skin is very dry I would suggest less face washing, unless it's actually dirty or sweaty. Then don't use soap. I'm not familiar with the products you are using for washing your face, but they may not be helping. Try rinsing your face with warm water and reapplying a moisturizer. You may need to apply it several times a day. I think that products designed to remove dead skin is harsh and not a good product to use for dry skin. I also suggest that you quit using the face makeup. Your skin will probably do better with several applications of moisturizer during the day rather than the make up. Just rinse your face with warm water first each time, pat (don't rub) it dry, and apply the moisturizer liberally. Don't apply the moisturizer to your face without rinsing it with water first. The purpose of moisturizer is to hold moisture in, so there needs to be some there. A little lipstick and cheek blush should be enough make up for you. Now, to go back to the beginning: remember to moisturize (hydrate) your whole body or your skin will continue to be excessively dry.

Ha,ha! Not laughing at you but the situation. I laugh instead of crying to keep from going insane sometimes. Here goes. Almost every "acne" product out there has many acnegenic ingredients in it ! No joke! Health is the ONLY answer. Hydrogenated oil, refined salt/sugar, white bread is all EVIL! Stop eating it. You ARE what you eat. Coconut oil is the most healthy super-food you could eat. Anyone says different they are uneducated or lying to you. Everybody has a bacteria overload and is the root cause of your woes. Best medicine ever created is called Garden of Life. Start with Fungal Defense until the bottle is empty then take HSO's (homeostatic soil organisms) and FYI (for your inflammation) following the directions until you get it under control and thereafter cut back to a maintenance dose. This is powerful stuff so expect results. The links provided are the best price and education available anywhere on the web (period)! Save yourself the years of agony and research. I speak from experience and (almost) totally clear skin. Trust me, chuck those poison cremes and goop's in the can and use pure natural soap instead. Frequent washing is of key importance!! Don't listen to those posers. Just don't be scrubbin'. (easy, light) Your skin is an excretory organ, keep it clean (or else just like a baby's butt you get a rash). If you were to do 40% of this then expect to see 80% results. Peace be with you.

you are causing the dryness by all the washing, and all that garbage you are putting on your skin...i am an estetician and I have studied the skin...
read labels and you will find alcohol in most products for the skin...which is a big NO NO>>>>>
you need to cause balance and remind your skin what it is supposed to do...by doing what you have, you caused your skin to go bunkers...we have receptors that tell our skin when its too dry, or too oily and it will make an adjustment...but the products you have been using has caused the skin to go in biserk mode...
now trust me on this...use olive oil only...thats right the stuff in your kitchen..its the purest thing for your face...just a little bit in the cup of your hand, using clean fingers just wipe it on your cheeks, then forehead, then nose and chin and upper lip, then take tissue and gently remove it in the same order you put it on, then take a washcloth with hot water (squeezed out) and scrub the face one time only, the throw cold water handfuls all over your face to close the pores. You do this ONCE a day before bed...not two times or more a day...and lay off the make up...then go to macys and rebuy make up that DOES not contain alcohol or formalyn or an other for of formaldahyde...and lastly drink at least 32 ounces of water a day...preferably clean spring water...and in short order you will see your skin balance...olive oil is all I use..and I have dry sensitive skin...and for those with oily skin, it does exactly the same...bring balance...and by the way you do not have acne...

Follow this regime twice a day (preferably when waking up and before bed).

Wash your hands thoroughly.
Wash your face with an acne wash (I use Panoxyl).
PAT your face dry with a clean towel or paper towels.
Apply an acne cream solution that is 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (again I use Panoxyl)

That's it.
Also, drink lots of water and try some vitamins like beta-carotene vitamin & vitamin C, which are both good for the skin!

Don't drink caffeine.

Good luck to you!
I used to suffer badly and I know what it's like.
But with a regime like above I've overcome it and you can too!
Don't give up and don't let it get the best of you.

Firstly stop using neutragena!! its an alkaline product. Only use a scrub to remove dead skin once a week, and stop using heaps if products. It will only make your face go beserk. If anything, go for Dove. It works to maintain your natural PH balance and will prolly help to stop it from drying out. Always choose a cream cleanser for a dry face, you wouldnt need a toner and then a moisturiser thats designed for dry skin. Cleanse only morning and nite. Just give the products a month or so before you make any judgements whether they work for you. lol.... Drink plenty of water.

DONT waste your money on stupid products. Here are some guaranteed, natural cures:

Drink about 10-15 cups of water every day
Eat plenty veggies and fruit
Whole grains, no white rice or bread
Lean meat.
NO FAST FOOD AND OTHER HIGH-FAT GARBAGE!!!!!!!!
EXERCISE!!! EXERCISE!!! EXERCISE!!!!
Avocados are good too, so is Olive oil. Consume plenty of those.
Everyday when you shower, wash your face with the shower gel.
Use an exfoliating face wash every other day or so.

You do these things, I guarantee your skin will look like a model's in 6 months!!!

Remember, there's a natural cure and reason for everything

Ok. Drink water.
Get some Clean and Clear cream cleanser, and the moisturizer to go with it.
Wet your face, rub the cleanser in, wash/scrub your face with the washcloth.
Rinse.
Pat dry, and use the moisturizer.
Repeat daily, and stick to it.

**Also.... start using less and less makeup. Work your way down gradually, so that eventually you feel comfortable going with little to nothing on your skin (foundations, etc.).

heres the deal...ure face is hecka dry cause ure washing it toooo much!! 2 times a day...im surprised u have any skin left..seriously...what i do..sicne i also have reaallly dry skin..is i soap my face at night to take off all the makeup and gross stuff that collects on ure face every day from pollution and stuff with a mild soap...like a baby soap...then i use a good lotion like olay or eucerin(kinda pricy, smells gross but works wonders..any drug store)...and go to sleep..wake up...DONT wash my face but DO put on the same lotion..and go about my day...about the acne...dehydration is insanity when it comes to skin..you need to be drinking a crapload of water a day...even if u pee all the time like me! ;) DO NOT use neutrogena..it sucks!!! and origins and clinique..ure wasting ure money. i swear...go with what i said...and naturally ure skin will eventually get better. also...scrub ure face gently with a good scrub like st ives...they have a good selection depending on if ure face is oily, dry, sensitive,etc...so get that dry one and use that twice a week...like monday and friday. stuff should go away. make sure u follow thru cause it wont work unless u do! good luck!
