I lost weight, because it took away my desire to binge on food. It really helps for people who are binge eaters or have bulimia.

It definitely works great for me, the only problem is I can't have orgasms on it.

Personally for myself i actually cant remember because my focuse was not on my weight at that time it was on the fact that i wanted to get better in my mind.
However the side affects for prozac differ from person to person.
In conjuction with healthy eating, exercise and perhaps therapy you have a good chance for it to improve you life.
As i am still alive it must have done some good for me.And although i still have a depressive personality and now am allergic to most antidepressants i keep getting better each day.
Alot can be achieved with the mind and how you think, positive thinking is the way to go honestly!!!!
Give it a try it is not going to alter your mind so much that you are out of it.And you can always see your doctor to review how you are feeling and disscuss any side effects.

When i took Prozac it made me less hungry and i ended up losing weight. It varies from person to person. SSRI's effect people differently in all aspects. Prozac was not effective the side effects out weighed the good things. So i stopped takeing it.
