As long as they read you your rights and you said you understand they ask you answer. You could have stopped at any time.

You're claiming to not have understood because you have ADHD? or ADD? which one do you have? sounds more like you said something you now regret saying and are looking for a good excuse and some special treatment and help to get outta it... Who am I to judge? I have ADD, I have MANY MANY friends with ADHD or ADD on all different levels, from mild, to very extreme... You're story sounds like a lot of B*S to me because the problem isnt not understanding, it's not paying attention and a police officer can tell if you're unable to follow them due to distractions... And you arent stupid, you just miss parts of it and if you used your brain at all you would fill them in on it.
Were you even actually falsely accused? Or is that another way of trying to manipulate others into helping you? Or maybe you're hoping a cop will see this and go "oh we falsely accused him, lets let him off the hook"? Get over it... You do the crime, you do the punishment... And if you're too oblivious to everything around you to speak to a police officer and know you have the right to remain silent and to an attourney, then you're hopeless...

Whoa, whoa, please tell me you aren't trying to use ADD as an excuse for not understanding their questioning and in turn incriminating yourself. ADD, for those unfamiliar with it, is Attention Deficit Disorder, it's not like you're mentally retarded. I was told I had ADD when I was like 12, had to do the whole Ritalin thing, and I've been working in law enforcement going on 6 years. Haven't touched medication in years, and I seem to function pretty well. If you have been charged with a crime that you didn't commit, get yourself an attorney.

FALSE ACCUSED. (YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT)

LEARNING DISORDER? ADD ( YOU HAD A LEARNING DISORDER. IF YOU COULD RATIONALLY DISCERN THAT YOU WERE FALSELY ACCUSED, THEN YOU AGREED TO QUESTIONING WHEN YOU OFFERED INFORMATION?)

CERTAIN WAY THEY CAN QUESTION YOU? YES, DID YOU DO IT? (DIRECT AND TO THE POINT?)

IF YOU DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY SAID THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR A CLARIFICATION OF THE QUESTION.

(HAVE THEY USED IT AGAINST YOU OR IS THIS YOUR BELIEF THAT THEY MIGHT OR WILL DEFINITELY?)

NO YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY LIVING ALONE AND HAVE SURVIVED THUS FAR. DO NOT PLAY THE DISABILITY ROLE NOW.

YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD THEM YOU HAD A DISABILITY ADD.

GET A GOOD ATTORNEY IF THEY DO CHARGE YOU AND EXPLAIN THAT WHAT YOU SAID WAS NOT WHAT YOU MEANT.

ADHD? DISABILITY???I don't think so buddy......thats a big stretch.......whether you did it or not....I GURANTEE YOU that you had SOME sort of involvement...maybe not directly, but you have some type of information, thats why you were questioned. We don't just randomly pick names out of the telephone book and decide to question someone at 1:00am........be honest.....the truth shall set you free......
Oh, and for all of the MIRANDA arguments....HE WAS NOT in custody...therefore Miranda doesn't apply unless they handcuffed him and put him in the patrol car...but I'm willing to bet he was either in his house or standing on his porch....NO MIRANDA NEEDED.....

Did you understand your Miranda warning when they read it to you?

You'd probably have to be evaluated by a shrink, then the court would have to determine if you were able to make the decision to talk to the police and answer questions - GET A LAWYER

- Good luck

ADD or not, you didn't have to answer their questions. If you answer the questions without a lawyer, you're not only disabled but also DUMB.

If you are your own guardian you are on your own.
