I feel that this Religion and Spirituality category should be subdivided into different categories for the different faiths.

Although I am an atheist, I feel the Christian deserves a forum where they can honestly ask one another about their faith or for scriptures without someone offering criticism to their belief as a whole. The same goes for the pagan who gets told they will go to hell when they ask a question intended for another pagan. Since so many questions seem to be Christians challenging Atheists and Atheists challenging Christians there should be a "Religious Philosophy" or "Debate" category. I feel Atheists should stay out of Christian only questions and Christians should stay out of pagan and atheist only questions unless specifically challenged. Lets live and let live.

There are many christian theology forums, this isn't;t one of them.

As Solly mentioned, what makes this place interesting is the diversity what you are suggesting would be in every sections "isn't god/Zeus/free thinking/Buddha great" followed by 100 "oh yes I love it". BORING.

This is the first time I checked out this catagory. Do you all always beat up on each other? Dang, live and let live seems to be the better side of reason. Chaplain Debby

Have you been to a purely Christian forum? They send each other to hell like there's no tomorrow. Put a bunch of Christians from various denominations in a sealed room and watch how bibles suddenly start flying around.

I thought Atheism wasn't a religion? Don't Atheists try to prove religion and spirituality doesn't exist?

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Perhaps a number of subcategories would make it easier to post and answer questions which pertain to different facets of spirituality...Christian just being one of them.

Iteresting for sure. However, there is debate happening here all the time. What we need is a religious tolerance board. There seems to be none of that here.

Trolls are going to go looking for a flamewar no matter what you do. I just try to answer most question honestly and thoughtfully and ignore the reactive and judgemental.

"Religious Debate" category sounds good, but it happens here all the time anyway.
