I mean, I assume most Christians do accept evolution, they do think that televangelists are too rich and have too much influence, they do accept that people should be free to live whatever lifestyle they want as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone etc, but there’s a percentage that don’t accept the above list and are actively opposed to everything on it. What do you reckon, about 20%?

Before I started reading R&S I would have thought your percentage was high, now I think it's low.

i think of that there is a huge difference. the undertaking is that maximum "fluffies" call themselves "Eclectic," which confuses the undertaking. A fluffy is somebody who has no draw close of history, and little or no understand-how of the Craft, yet refuses to check. they think of that Wicca is despite they want it to be, and that any one who tells them otherwise is illiberal, judgemental, or dogmatic. they are, on the only hand, very close-minded to particular books, authors, and traditions that they erroneously think of are "darkish," and on the different hand, so open-minded that their brains have fallen out. For a number of them, Wicca is a political fact. For some it justifies their animosity against Christianity, or against adult adult males, or against their dad and mom, or against the "Normals" often. For some that's fantasy achievement. It makes them experience like they have administration in an otherwise overwhelming worldwide the place they in the previous felt thoroughly powerless. some have lost touch, to a pair volume, and think of that they are residing an episode of Charmed, or they might't tell the edition between Wicca and a D&D pastime -- the varieties of people who solid spells with a d20. some fluffies are basically youthful dabblers -- some will strengthen out of it, and a few will strengthen into it. Others are basically posers who're utilising the Craft to seem cool. So the edition between an Eclectic and a Fluffy is not any rely if or not you recognize what you're doing, or care to. An Eclectic takes an experimental recommendations-set to Magick, utilising what works from a type of traditions. Eclecticism takes a superb variety of examine, a superb variety of artwork. Fluffies normally call themselves "Eclectic" because of the fact they think of it excuses them from doing the examine. yet, because of the fact the old saying is going, you will possibly desire to understand the guidelines until eventually now you are able to injury them.

And because all Christians don't believe exactly the same way, it is alright to call them crazy. It doesn't matter if you say harmless or scary, you are still calling them crazy. Would it be all right to call about 20% of atheist crazy because they did not believe like the other 80% did. Do you think that is an open minded, respectful attitude toward other peoples beliefs?

wow, I give you lots of credit for picking so low a fraction - most people on this site would say the scary crazy Christian is the majority, with a few harmless crazy folks in there.

Just because they don't think like you do in your little list doesn't mean they are crazy or harmful. A crazy person bombs all infidels and flies airplanes into buildings to gain converts. (dead ones!)

You shouldn't categorize people like this. Your question sounds more like, "if people don't believe as I do, then they are crazy. Would you say 20% of christians who don't believe as I do are crazy?"

What nonsense. Grow up!

I my gosh people. Why do you assume evolution is correct????? I seriously dont get it. I have studied evolution. It is a theory with some serious flaws. Maybe one day those flaws will fix themselves with further evidence. Maybe those flaws will one day prove the whole theory fatal. Either way, there is still a pretty good chance that it is not completely correct. Scientists will tell you that it is still not proven.

Why do some people assume that the only way to believe in science is to agree that this theory is 100 percent correct????????????????

No, it's not really fair, especially since your statistics, like 68% of all statistics, are made up on the spot.
