I need a new bed!!!?

But theyre so expensive! Me and my boyfriend live together, and the bed is about 10-12 years old. There's a sink in the middle and you spend your night fighting to stay out of it. We try flippinf the matress often but it doesn't help. I think the bed has just about seen its last day! Where can a find good, realllly good price on a bed. We're in college and it's almost Christmas time, so the cheaper, the better! We live in Western PA too, so somewhere around here would be nice! Thank you all!

Definitely check the newspaper and craigslist to see if you can find a good deal... that is if you don't mind having someone else's mattress. A lot of people downsize or upgrade so you might be able to find a somewhat new mattress.
Or, you could try to buy your mattress on sale. Most mattress places have good sales on holidays.

I bought one from an Estate Sale. Its was about a $1,000 mattress set (box springs too), and I got such a good deal for $250 and it was about 2 years old. So keep an eye out for an Estate sale. If you don't want a used one ask a mattress store when they will have close outs for their new incoming inventory and you can buy the old ones that are new. Oops, i forgot Big Lots now sells them cheap.

I have one of those Sleep Number beds that is advertised on late night TV often.
I can't imagine how I had manged without it for so long!
Its incredible! And certainly worth the investment.
