Ok so im 15 i play sports daily and today in weight training class before going to do weights i joged about a mile and when i went to do lunges my knees got a sharp pain right in the middle. I only feel the pain when i bend my knee alot like doing a squat, i dont feel it when i walk normal or run. It hurts alot and makes a clicking sound when i bend and unbend it. I want 2 know what the problem is. thanks

Sounds like an injury... I'd advise seeing a doc about it, to get some advice on how to prevent aggravating it any more, and give it time to heal.

For immediate pain relief, you can try alternating a heat pad and ice pack. Give each about 15 minutes, alternating. The heat will help bring fresh blood circulation, and the ice pack helps reduce swelling. But you don't want to do either for more than about 15 minutes because it can lead to a reaction in the skin (a 'burn' type of response)

Good luck

They are getting old, err weathered out a little bit. This happened to me in high school when i did about 4 different sports and weight training, etc.

Just make sure you ice it and after just keep it straight til it thaws out.

It's not to big a deal, but you'll need to take it easy a bit
