5. WHEN YOU ARE 8, 9, 10, 11, OR 12 MORE THAN 4’9” (57 INCHES) TALL MAY USE AN ADULT SEATBELT, BUT MUST KEEP YOUR BACK AGAINST THE SEAT BACK, YOUR KNEES BENT OVER THE EDGE OF THE SEAT, AND YOUR FEET FLAT ON THE FLOOR IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR.

6. WHEN YOU ARE MORE THAN 12 YEARS OLD MORE THAN 4’9” (57 INCHES) TALL MAY SIT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT OF THE CAR WITH AN ADULT SEATBELT.

Says 12 on the visor, true, but if the level of their head does not go above the level of the dash, then they need to ride in the back. The airbag can truly do some serious damage.

Usually at least 12, but weight is another factor - 60 lbs. or more (At least in CA). Check with your state and local laws.

Depends on your States requirements. They vary. If you are old enough to be on Yahoo Answers (13) you should be old enough and weigh enough to be up front.

You need to be 13 because if you crash the air bag can kill the child.
