A lot.

If you are going over 20 mph they can charge you as much as they want too. Since a school zone is 25-30mph and simple math tells me that is more than 20 mph over it can be a lot. Especially since it was in a school zone and it could be potentially dangerous.

OK: IS THIS A QUIZ? I'LL GIVE YOU 2 ANSWERS:

FOR GOING 50 IN A SCHOOL ZONE?

1) WAS SCHOOL IN PROGRESS?

2) WAS THERE A FLASHING YELLOW LIGHT AND A POSTED LIMIT TO BE TRAVELED DURING CERTAIN TIMES POSTED?

3) IF NONE OF THE ABOVE THEN NOTHING SCHOOL IS NOT IN SESSION.

4) A POSTED LIMIT IN A SCHOOL ZONE IS ONLY DURING SCHOOL HOURS OF 7-8AM AND 2-3 PM OR SOMETHING LIKE THOSE HOURS GIVE OR TAKE A HALF HOUR.

5) SOME SCHOOL ZONES ARE POSTED AT 10-20 SOME AT 20-30?

6) SO WE SAY YOU WERE TRAVELING OVER THE POSTED LIMIT WITH LIGHTS GOING AS A CAUTION / WARNING? 30 TO 20 OVER. N.J. LAW 485 DOLLARS AMERICAN PLEASE. NEXT.
