One side effect of Paxil is lowered libido. If you are currently in a relationship, this may prove problematic for your partner.
Another thing about Paxil is that it takes longer to kick in than, say, Celexa. So keep a close watch on your symptoms and take care of yourself.
Also, it takes a loooooong time to wean yourself off Paxil. Be prepared for that.

My wife had horrible side effects from paxil! She said it made her skin crawl, couldn't stand to take the drug ,, I have heard Nothing good -All Bad about Paxil, There are WAY better drugs that treat the same conditions as paxil is prescribed to treat, Webuterin is a good one ,Little to no side effects , and it gave me some badly needed energy !

I have used Paxil for several years now and it has worked really well for my panic anxiety disorder. The only side effect that I have noticed is I have less energy than I used to; but that may be because I am getting older.

I took Paxil a couple years ago and had no side effects. There are several though, but I think they're pretty typical for all similar medication. Read the phamplet that came with the medication from the pharmacy. If you know longer have it go back and ask for another one.
