Is it okay to be neutral about certain issues like homosexuality or witchcraft and still be a Christian?
I heard it ain't gonna work...

Opinions?

I'm neutral on a lot of issues and topics because I don't think it's fair to put groups of non-believers and such in Hell for their beliefs. And those people may be loving, and caring as their Christian counterparts! It's just not fair...unless
it's Satanism. I'm definitely not okay with Satanism...

Even if you were to say to me that I'm going to burn in hell - that doesn't mean I will, it just means that's what you think.

I wouldn't be offended or hurt because its not true. I think its important to tell others where you stand on the issues because its a right we have that so many don't, especially women.

I don't care if you don't have the same views as me- you gotta voice girl so use it! Don't be afraid of hurting someone's feelings. So many women worry about upsetting others. If you really upset someone, its because something you said got to them, and making people think is a good thing.

Besides, the people most Christians say are going to hell have pretty thick skins anyway. They've been outcasts and spit at and heard they're going to hell all their lives - believe me, they can handle themselves.

Sooner or later you have to take a stand on these issues. God is against it, so you have to be also. It may take some time to feel comfortable talking and discussing about it, which is okay. You may not be neutral on these issues and it is alright not to discuss it with others if you don't feel you know how. God will give you the right words to speak.

I think it's totally okay to be neutral. It shows that you are taking interesting in learning more and more of each side until you finally have enough support to reach a decision...which may never be reached, but that's okay too.

Neutral is the same as omission.
Jesus said: Are you with me or not ?
Making a choice is a responsibility.

It is one thing to have personal views about controversial topics. It is quite another to put those views in other peoples faces as if they must accept them or else. Jesus asked us to share our faith by living a life of love and service to our fellow man. He never asked us to force our views on others and then if they don't accept them, condemn them. If living my life this way makes me neutral then I'm guilty as charged.

My car is parked in neutral most of the time . It doesn't go anywhere that way but it's still a car.

It sounds to me like you don't even know why you are a Christian. It's actually ok to be neutral about that as well.

"Neutral" just means you don't know enough to have an opinion. I think that's fine - in fact, I think that's honest - with the proviso that when it happens with something important, you start digging for the information you need.

No. Within the 7 churches of Revelation, God calls that "lukewarm," and He says He will vomit you out of His mouth.

Well as long as you aren't like The Westboro Baptist Church...or the enormous, infamous, crazy "god warrior".....you're fine with me :)
