Things that we know are designed are designed for a purpose. This purpose is clearly evident in it's design: Scissors cut things, plumbing transports and delivers water, heaters provide heat, etc...

So, you believe we are designed. This assertion implies that we have a specific purpose. So the question is this: What is our purpose? If god designed us he must have done so to solve some problem he had. We must be a tool for some purpose, what is that purpose, and how is it evident in our design?

Please don't say we were designed to praise or worship god. that just makes god sound like some sort of egomaniac who needs constant attention so he created an army of robots to give him that attention.

They probably won't be able to answer, religion fools the mind. For me, life has no purpose. The universe has no purpose or meaning. In one tiny space in the cosmos, beings have evolved into consciousness. It's only up to us to give our lives meaning and purpose.

We are designed with a specific purpose by God. You don't want to hear the answer because you've decided it makes no sense to you. That doesn't change the answer. We are created in the image of God to glorify Him. He doesn't need us, nor did He create an army of robots. Had He done so, you would not be asking this question. He gave us free will precisely because He doesn't want the worship of robots. Nor does He need our worship, as He needs nothing from us. However, He deserves our worship for who He is: He is the author and finisher of life, our loving Creator, the Alpha and Omega, the Great I Am. There is and never will be any like Him. He created every one of us and gave us life. Through His Son, He even provided a way for us to be with Him after we rebelled against Him. And yet, we can still choose to turn away from Him. I'm sorry if you don't like the answer and you don't have to agree with me. No one's forcing you to worship God, not even God will force you to worship Him. But there are consequences for rejecting Him.

Well, now that you answered your own question I'd like to add to that.
First off we are NOT machines. We have no plugs to plug ourselves in to get recharged, no micro chips, We breathe, we think, we have souls. There is a reason for that, God!
Our purpose is to further HIS kingdom. the trial is here on Earth. See not everyone is able to join him in Heaven only the "chosen" (The Saved or Born Again, iof you will.)
See our lives here on Earth is only a very very small part of life compared to life Eternal. You can believe what ever you'd like but I would like to give you credit for understanding you have a purpose.
Sounds like IF you really want to know, you should go read that book the purpose driven life!
If you just want to TRY to "Prove" something against God because you aren't to sure yourself here is not the place, go ask a church that is not of "religious" back ground. a basic Bible Church is what you need. Many Pastor would be happy to help you!

In the Bible it says, "God created man in his own image". Many people misinterpret this phrase and assume it means physically. It actually means more. He created us to be like him. Not to become "gods" ourselves but to become more loving and tolerant of others. Our purpose is to learn. That is why we were designed with the ability to logically contemplate the universe.
You erroneously assume (like all evolutionists) that creationists have no experimental evidence to support our claims. It's really funny because you often say that creationism advances religion. We creationists are scientists NOT theologians. While one can say creationism implies religion one can also say evolution implies atheism, however, many religious people firmly believe in evolution. Finally, there is a noted agnostic who believes in I.D. Do you know this persons name? Z.C. There is your hint.

We were created by God for His good pleasure. We are not robots but God desires His creation to Worship Him.

We are here we are now! It's up to you to make a purpose for your own life! Choose your own destiny! and why do I have to answer a question you have obviously already answered for yourself! if you are here for nothing that's YOUR life!! If you are here for a purpose Rock on in that purpose. But don't confuse yourself or others with mindless chatter! Be true to who you are and love the purpose that you created for your self or the purpose that you didn't create for yourself k! does that answer your question for you?

We're his 596945594594th failed experiment, didn't you know?
But instead of just killing of us off after figuring out we didn't meet his purpose he left us to live for some bizarre reason.

What's he experimenting on?

He's experimenting with free will, it's notoriously difficult to have free or give free will to his creations when you know absolutely everything.

Do you have children? Why did you want to have children? Was it not so that you could love someone who is a part of you? To 'create' someone who you could raise and care for? God is the same in that respect.

Is every parent who wants their children to love them an egomaniac? Do you need constant attention from an army of robots?
