Soldiers don't declare war presidents do! If it is about protesting the war, protest at the white house. Don't disrespect your fellow americans. How would you like your funeral to be attacked by protestors who believe in something you had no control over? Have you ever heard a soldier say I love fighting over in Iraq and being away from my family for 2+ years. I dont think so! If you've ever protested at a soldiers funeral you should be banished from this country, you obviously don't deserve to live in a free country that was founded upon bloodshed by soldiers for the freedom rights you get in this country.

The aclu defended the free speech rights of those whacked out homophobes to protest at funerals. And those protesters lost in court today-$11,000,000 or so. The whole thing is disgraceful.

poseur_ranger_punk "It's called Freedom of Speech.

bush and his supporters HATE it."

FREEDOM of speech ?????? to protest at a Soldiers Funeral, what planet do you come from ????

It is not freedom of speech to protest at someone's funeral in front of their family, only a low life would suggest such a thing, go protest in Washington if you have a problem with it.

Oops now the coward "poseur_ranger_punk" has deleted what he said, guess he is not man enough to stand by his comments. Be aware everyone this person is pretending to be a veteran.

The "church" of the demented Fred Phelps and his moronic daughters are just sick. They are not protesting against the war, but are demonstrating that our soldiers are dead because the United States is evil. Maybe we should ship those three nuts and their followers to Iran.

The point is to look like an idiot and irk all others who aren't idiotic. It's also to tork off the soldier's family, as it shows a blatant disregard for their feelings and the decedent's dignity. Such people should be brained repeatedly with a dead carp.

i really don't believe in fighting, it's not productive and it causes problems. but if i saw people protesting and being disrespectful at a military person's funeral i believe that is cause for a beat-down. and i doubt there will be a jury that will convict me.

They don't care about their fellow man/woman. That's why I don't consider them to be Christian. All they care about is making a point and getting press.
