Yes babies are not born of sin. We all have free will and it is up to us if we choose to follow a good or bad path.

All babies are born with two inevitablities...(1) they are mortal, and (2) they will at some point make at least one decision that they know is wrong. This is the essence of original sin (though I don't really like that term because it sounds like babies are guilty of a sin when they are born and that's not what I think it means). Whatever it was that got "switched on" when Adam and Eve acquired the "knowledge of good and evil" is something that all their ancestors would share by virtue of the process of human reproduction. We are all a product of our parents' genetic makeup...whatever it is that gives all of us the ability to make choices about right and wrong is a result of the original sin of Adam and Eve...and that characteristic (whatever that is...conscience perhaps) is something all babies have from birth. It may need a lot of development and can certainly be influenced by the environment, but it is there from conception and will ultimately lead each of us do at least one thing we know is wrong at an early age.

Ezekiel 18:20. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
James 2:24. Ye see then how that by works a man is just.
Matthew 19:16-17. "And behold, one came up to him, saying, "Teacher, what good deed must I do, to have eternal life?" "And he said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments."
James 2:26. "Faith without works is Dead"
Proverbs 21:18. “The wicked is a ransom for the righteous, and the faithless for the upright”

That is Biblical... Ezekiel 18 makes it pretty clear. GUILT cannot be inherited as the doctrine of "original sin" claims.
Eze 18:19 “ ‘What?’ you ask. ‘Doesn’t the child pay for the parent’s sins?’ No! For if the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live. 20 The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. 21 But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. 22 All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done.

The words original sin are not in the Bible just like the Holy Trinity, Incarnation, Purgatory, Rapture, etc. but the doctrine is there.
Sin entered the world at the beginning, the dawn of history. It is called Original Sin because it was committed at the origin of the human race. (Genesis 3,6; Romans 5,12) Original Sin is defined as the loss of that perfect holiness in which God made us, and of perfect union of mind and heart with Him.
The consequence of Original Sin is a wounded nature, which was passed down to all mankind, and a loss of God's friendship. (Romans 5,12)
All have been born with Original Sin except the Blessed Virgin Mary, the new Eve, who alone was preserved by God and conceived without sin. (LG 56) She was preserved from Original Sin because he who would be born of her would be the Son of God: (Luke 1,35) (LG 61) "that pure womb which He himself made to be pure." (Adversus Hereses of S. Irenaeus 4.33.11) This privileged state is called the Immaculate Conception.

The universal penalty for sin is death. That's why God told Adam, if he ate the forbidden fruit, he would surely die.
Conversely, one without sin IS NOT liable to die.
The fact that all humans are subject to death, even from the moment of their conception, proves that all humans are indeed affected by the original sin of the first couple.
St. Paul explains it:
Rom 5:12 Sin came into the world through one man, and his sin brought death with it. As a result, death has spread to the whole human race because everyone has sinned.
Rom 5:13 There was sin in the world before the Law was given; but where there is no law, no account is kept of sins.
Rom 5:14 But from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, death ruled over all human beings, even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam did when he disobeyed God's command. Adam was a figure of the one who was to come.
Rom 5:15 But the two are not the same, because God's free gift is not like Adam's sin. It is true that many people died because of the sin of that one man. But God's grace is much greater, and so is his free gift to so many people through the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ.
Rom 5:16 And there is a difference between God's gift and the sin of one man. After the one sin, came the judgment of "Guilty"; but after so many sins, comes the undeserved gift of "Not guilty!"
Rom 5:17 It is true that through the sin of one man death began to rule because of that one man. But how much greater is the result of what was done by the one man, Jesus Christ! All who receive God's abundant grace and are freely put right with him will rule in life through Christ.
Rom 5:18 So then, as the one sin condemned all people, in the same way the one righteous act sets all people free and gives them life.
Rom 5:19 And just as all people were made sinners as the result of the disobedience of one man, in the same way they will all be put right with God as the result of the obedience of the one man.
Rom 5:20 Law was introduced in order to increase wrongdoing; but where sin increased, God's grace increased much more.
Rom 5:21 So then, just as sin ruled by means of death, so also God's grace rules by means of righteousness, leading us to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The bible tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. So really, no matter how original you think you are, it's been done before - so, in that sense, there is no original sin. Is that what you meant?

There was original sin/error of Adam and Eve, but all sins were forgiven by the blood sacrifice of Jesus. So it is my opinion that the only original sins you are responsible for is your own.

"Sin came into the world through one person, and death came through sin. So death spread to everyone, because everyone sinned." Romans 5:12
babies are born with original sin caused by Adam. Yet, babies haven't committed any "personal sins" yet.

We are all born with sin, we are all human. A baby can not sin on purpose. Because of the sin nature we all die, and babies start to die the minute they are born.
