It's because a lot of people like to believe that their way is the only way. Most people who believe in God are overzealous hypocrites that have no problem looking down upon those who choose not to believe what they believe. I live my life how I feel I should live it, according to what my faith is. It's sad that other people aren't able to do the same.

You asked a sensible, logical and thoughtful question. Most of these questions by non-Christian writers are rude, crude and meant to mock people that do not see like they do.

You have every right to believe what you wish, but you do NOT have the right to be rude and put others down by what you say.

Again, as I said, you did not come into your question saying things like you are stupid or things like that. Others do. They get reported for not considering or respecting others.

Many people misrepresent what the Bible says about judging. The Bible does say do not judge, that is, do not say what someone thinks about something or why someone feels as they do. The Bible does say the Christians will be judges of one another. This judgment is to see someone kill another and know (not what we call judge) the person is guilty of murder. The two words are not interchangeable like we try to make them.

Maybe it is in your "tone of voice" interpreted by your wording. Yahoo is world wide so all religions should be integrated comfortably under the "Society& Culture >Religion & Spirituality and no group should be pelting any one with their beliefs. If every one can remain polite we should all be able to agree to dis agree. Most people fear what they don;t understand and I think we can all agree we do not understand other peoples beliefs if they are different than ours..
I think it says something like 'judge not lest ye be judged'...so I guess that what goes around comes around fits kinda like some one elses 'Karma".....Pls don't stop trying to interact just lets all try to chill and not Judge......

i don't mark them, I read many of them, I find them illuminating actually

I am always interested in what people think as well as how they draw their conclusion

I will offer this observation. before the zero was invented numbers still existed. The ancient Phoenicians as well as the greeks and arabs across africa and into asia were masters of mathematics.

I can't concieve of how they did math without a zero, but they did.

In the same way, theist and atheist both have their thought processes operating, one believing one not believing. Both are needed and necessary on earth. Both add value to the other, both are worth of hearing and have a voice in matters.

i would that all people were like minded in this with me.

It is frustrating. In fact there are religious groups going around and falsely accusing people of copyright violations on youtube and such deliberately to get atheistic posts removed.

Beware of the dogma.

They preach don't judge, but they do it all the time. And why not, if they actually read that silly book they are told to do so.

As long as a post isn't specifically mean spirited or name calling, anti-religion is part of free speech and should be permitted.

Because if you're NOT religious or spiritual, then why are you commenting on "our Bible?" This is the RELIGION section - ie, space reserved for religious conversations.

If you are religious or spiritual, then your beliefs fall under the umbrella of religion and your teachings should be banned from schools under the constitution.

Actually I never ask anti-Christian questions and several of mine have gotten violations. I sometimes think there are people who do nothing but report questions.

I've never said anything that -was- an affirmation of Faith, I've said nothing that which is not essentially Atheist and Agnostic for like.. a year, and have yet to receive such a violation. Perhaps you're unlucky, or perhaps it's your tone.

not every question in every category is deleted by Yahoo. Not only are the believers in this section but also the non believers and the "trolls" just trying to start trouble. don't be mad at everyone just because of a few.

Hmm.

I'm Christian and I freely offer my Christian opinion...and manage to collect quite a few "violation notices" as a result.

It's not just anti-religion or anti-Christian...

Oh, and I have quite the collection of hate and death-threat e-mails too.
