They reject the idea of supercessionism - that the second covenent supercedes the first. They think jews are still god's chosen people,not christians,so they think of them as a supernatural elite. Oddly,many urban liberals - including agnostics - have a similarly exalted opinion of jews. In their case they believe they are abnormally intelligent and gifted. This seems to be a product of their reliance of the mass media,which as we all know is utterly devoid of jewish influence (*winks*). All fundies manifest a worshipful attitude toward jews. Personally,I find them to be extremely temperamental and insulting people,and totally convinced of their superiority -which they think entitles them to be above criticism.

They sure do. The Fundamentalists believe the Bible to be literally true and the Bible states clearly that the Jews are God's chosen people and will rule over all the Nations of the Earth.
If they do not believe that then they are denying the Bible and are not Fundamentalist.

I don't believe they're superhuman. However God did use Jewish people such as Moses, Aaron,Mary, Jacob(Isreal),Samson, David ,Peter, John, John the Baptizer, Jonah, Esther, and others in the past to do his will to fulfill his plan. They were capable of superhuman feats only when they were in God's will, and when they fell away from God he always has punished them accordingly.

As a fundie myself, this question really chaps my hide. Why is it that I find out what I'm supposed to believe on YA! instead of from my other fundie friends?..... and this isn't the first time that this has happened.
