I have a D-link router, but any router will do. I was using a linksys before this D-link. I get about 6mb download so I have a pretty good connection. I can host games for Warhawk. I really wouldn't worry about which router you get, just make sure it's got a WIFI because the ps3 can connect through wireless.

Like the others have said pretty much any router will work.
My router is the NetGear WGR614. It works great, via Wi-Fi to my PS3, and the route ris in my basement and the PS3 is upstairs. My connection is rated as a 3Mb connection cable modem. I've not experienced any lag or anything while playing Warhawk, R6V, GRAW2, or others, and on the PS2 I used to play Socom all the time, and never really had any problems there either.

Linksys wireless-g router. I'm thinking I could use a better (or at least newer) router too. I have Comcast 8 meg high speed. Linksys is good quality I think. Just don't forget to create an ip address for your PS3 to input in your router. It will allow for a better online NAT type so you can have more access in online play.

I've got D-link 604. It's a wired one, very simple, got a VPN support - it's all I need.
