The paperwork inside is in English because it was ment for the States. Honestly, the gun is a 8-9 out of a 10 and box too is perfect. pleae let me hear your thoughts before i do something crazy

If it were me I would just retire the Beretta Jetfire and not trade it at all. The 25ACP is not a good self defense round anyway, and you certainly don't want to trade it on a Bersa. Save your money and buy another .380ACP or a 9MM for a concealed carry weapon. You will have the best of both worlds and no regrets for trading the Beretta either......

Keep the Beretta for a keepsake but witty sayings aside, the .25 acp at best is a last resort weapon of opportunity. Its entire 'rason de etre' is based on the outdated idea that no one wants to be shot, even with a twenty-five. That from a time when we were more 'civilized,' back when we didn't have to worry about drug-crazed assailants lurking anywhere. Now jailers will tell you that they see inmates with five, six and more bullet holes from full-size 9mms in the County jail all the time. So a .25 in the pocket is better than a .45 in the truck? Perhaps we should be saying, "A 9mm in the hand is better than a 10mm in the truck?" Do you really want to trust your life and well-being to a .25 acp?

The .380 acp is considered the minimum defensive caliber. If you are really into tiny guns consider the Beretta Model 3032 .32 acp. With Fiocchi ammo or even the easier to find Winchester Silvertips you have a pocket defensive pistol that approaches the standard .380 acp ball ammo and .38 Special 158 round nose lead bullet ballistics.

I think you'll find the Beretta .32 acp is very similar to your Jetfire, only in a bigger caliber.

Good luck.

the little Beretta may have some collector value, but as a defense weapon, It sucks. I always say that if someone shoots me with a .25 and I find out about it, I'm probably gonna be mad. The Bersa is a low price, low quality firearm. The .380 cartridge is better than the .25 but that's like saying a chocolate donut is better than a maple bar. Both cartridges are sub standard for self defense. Find a buyer at a good price for the beretta, then put that money towards a good pistol in either 40 S&W or .45 acp ( I vote for the .45acp)

The gun is not an antique or even a particularly collectible gun. I have an older Bersa .380 and I consider the gun an underrated gem. I don't know what you intend to do with the gun. It is a nice, if somewhat heavy, concealed carry gun. A lot of people disparage the .380 but it will do the job if you do your part. The first rule about having a gun is: Have a gun.

If I were in your place, I would put the gun on one of the auction sites. I suspect you would get more selling it outright than you would on a trade.

Not for a Bersa or a .380 dude.... I would say hold on to it and just add to your collection. That or sell it out right for the best offer.
