For some reasoning I think all that dumb stuff is just "testing" for DEI's 2008 season. It's kinda obvious DEI is banking all their performance strategies on the #1 car. If Truex keeps doing what he's doing (and he feels mighty comfortable running in first position) I think he's gonna keep getting better to the point where he will be as good as Gordon or Johnson. Mark Martin just wants to "mentor" and you gotta love the guy for that. When all the dust settles and the 2008 season begins, what do you think will become of DEI?

Mark needs to either poo or get off the pot if u know what i mean. Either race or retire none of this half schedule BS. Truex will carry that team on his back next year.

I think DEI will do ok. I mean they have Truex who is a good driver and Mark Martin, I dont need to say anything about him. Now Paul Menard is a different question, Mark Martin needs to help him alot. He looks lost out there.

Truex will be the #1 man but I think Mark Martin will do good in the races he runs. As for Menard and Smith, they will flounder around in the back.

Unfortunately, yes. The #15 is nothing more than an R&D team because TEI is giving them the crap chassis and crap engines every week, nothing wrong with the driver. Mark Martin/Aric Almirola will do alright, Mark may get a win or two IMO. Regan Smith will finish around 24th or 25th in points.

DEI will be a no man show. Much as I like Mark Martin let's face it Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the team. It was all his name, his image, and most of all him being Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s son that got the team anywhere. No Earnhardt=No Money. Sure they could bring up Kerry Earnhardt but anywhere Kerry's going he's already been there.

Mark Martin, when he runs, will be good and Truex will run good again. I don't expect much out of Smith and Amirola. Menard is still unproven.

maybe not truex is in the chase, so he has what it takes. depending on how well mark's replacement driver does, you could see 2 cars

I was surprised when Mark signed with DEI. He knows how to win and will be up on the wheel everytime he straps in his car.

Truex may do allright, but I think the rest of the team will continue to struggle.
