I wonder how mature some of my fellow responders are. You are looking for an answer which, as far as I can tell, doesn't ask about disproving an ages old document in general. I would like to know how these people got so smart and are superior to the ancient scholars and prophets by the way. Simply put, the Bible is written for the people of Earth. If you encounter a distant society, I would bet that their bible would read very similar to ours.

It would only disprove the Bible if the Bible said that there wasn't life on other planets. Just because scripture is mum on a subject doesn't mean that something doesn't exist. Scripture also doesn't have a lot to say about Red Bull or quantum physics. Does that mean the Bible is disproved? Only if the Bible said, "There will never be any Red Bull energy drinks. Nor quantum physics."
Trust me, friend, there is a *lot* out there that God doesn't tell us in the Bible --- He kinda gives us information on a 'need to know' basis. :)

Can you quote any statement in the Bible that says that there is no other life except here. And why do you only ask about the Jewish and Christian text. Do you also ask if other books of faith would also be not true. It seems to me that Jesus was trying to say that there was another world where His kingdom exists but we are too blind to see it.. Scientists now believe that there may be many dimensions and alternate universes besides ours... Like we are on channel 2 and can't see what is on channel 4... The more we learn, the more we learn that we do not yet know.

Nah. Fifty years ago they were surer of their ground - Humans were God's chosen animal, and the only one in the universe.
Since then, the idea has percolated through some impossibly thick skulls that there is every chance that something like DNA will happen on any Earth-like planet - and there are billions of those.
So they've modified their stance slightly - sure there may be aliens, and they're all God's critters! Hallelujah!
The religion supermeme can mutate to defend it's own survival - slowly and with reluctance, but they have to. Watch how long it takes before they're forced to accept evolution.

Why would it? Where in the Bible does it say that there is no life on other planets??? The Bible doesn't mention gravity either. Does that disprove the Bible??

I don't think so.... .., there has ALWAYS been life out there..., God's out there.
If they never find life like the question implies, it still won't affect the Bible... It takes EVERY planet, star, quasar, black hole, gas, asteriod, constelation, and all the other stuff I don't even know or understand.., to support us humans, the COMPLEX life we are!
I just learned that ONLY by viewing a total solar eclipse, at the moment of total coverage, when the corona appears can scientists see and measure certain gases that are absolutely essential for complex life. There may be the unheard of conclusion when all is said and done, that God has set up this entire universe to support his human beings and our life.., and ours ALONE. We ARE wonderful enough for one-third of the Godhead to lay down His deity, come live AS one of us, pay the price for our (Adam as our delegated beginner) disobedience/sin, DIE, and rise again to LIFE from the dead for our salvation.., so what' the big deal to believe we ARE worth what God says we are worth. Are we not worth what God paid for us? Doesn't HE know our worth? Jesus willingly gave Himself for me and you as our substitute (free from our sin) so we can continue on the original path to Eternity WITH God. If men would search out God as vigoriously as they search out 'alien' life forms, earth life wouldn't be so filled with violence and pride and death!
God DOES talk about life on other "planes".., we just can't SEE and TOUCH the other planes. The universe is filled with life suitable for their plane and function; angels for heaven and earth= for God and man. Demons are disembodied spirits from a pre-Adamic race on earth... Adam was to RE-plenish the earth. Evidently it was plenished before..., and God doesn't do things halfway, so how do you figure "the earth was without form and void".., and sounds like when the devil was cast from heaven to earth, all HELL broke loose. This is just me and never heard that discussed before, but it's a thought. Then when the spirit hovered over the waters.., well read it for yourself in Genesis.
Don't personally believe there is "life" as we know life in the 'people' sense,on other planets or in other galaxies, but you know, that's a limited knowledge accessment. Still smiling.

I don't see how that would disprove the Bible unless the Bible said there was no life anywhere other than earth. The Bible doesn't say that, though. It's completely silent on the subject.

They have.
Christians will cling to their belief system even if a being from elswhere came and slapped them.....or claim them to be a demon.
One does not have to study hard to disprove much of what is written in most bible text. Theses texts have JUST enough truth to mask th the misrepresentations and removed information.
