Insulting me is not a educated or intelligent answer on your part. DO you agree with them or something?

I don't think is was the money really, more of just a way to get back at the hatred anacted upon his family, I doubt it's blood money, and yes it would be better donated to a charity that supports the troops, not the war, the troops and their families.

Yes and many of the other Fundamentalist Baptist Churches should be sued for the defamatory remarks they have made too.
Last week when the fires were burning in California R&S was seeing Fundamentalists happily posting that it was a judgement from God for allowing Gays to live in San Francisco and to have Gay Pride Parades.

Regardless of what you may think, these idiots do not represent the majority of the Christian population. They are a small, zealous, ill-informed, crazy, Nazi hatemongers who don't know a thing about God. That's why we get this bad name you seem to want to give us all the time. Just remember, the squeeky wheel is the one with the problem - as in those lovely folks in Westboro or whatever it is. I'm ashamed that they are from Kansas.
Oh, and to answer your question, those people in that story most definitely do deserve to have to pay through their teeth for the stuff they do.

do your research and get educated before you make ignorant statements that stir up stereotypes and prejudice- this kind of statement makes you no better than them-
Those people are not 'fundies' they are not even Christians- they are using the name of God to do the work of the enemy- they are a hateful people with no compassion for anyone and no Godly love at all- they have exalted themselves above the throne of God.
This is a very very small percentage of those that call themselves Christian that believe and act this way- they just happen to make a very loud noise- no true Christian would act this way and whether Christian or not 99.9% of the Christians in the US or in the world believe this to be wrong- note, this "church" does not really have an outside following- it consists mostly of family members who have been brainwashed into hatred.

The Church was wrong for the signs and the protest at the funeral. Now Its time to make people upset, so is the Dead mans father. He sued not for his son, other soldiers not even for the state of Maryland, He sued for one reason and one reason only for the G0D damn money and nothing else.
I'm tired of people saying that their doing something for a cause, Its not to bring back you son , not to take away the memory of the protest at his funeral(if anything the money will remind you of it) so both were wrong the F*(king church and the F*(king father.
peace

Yes. A clear message needs to be sent that this type of savage hatemongering will not be tolerated.
Then again, I'm from Canada, where the antics of Phelps and Co. would likely get them arrested. They called our country "the sperm bank of Satan", and frankly, that's a compliment coming from the likes of them.

They're not fundies. They're a hate cult.
Fundies don't hate people, they just disagree with a lot of popular worldviews. Does that equal hate in your eyes? If so why?
And yes I think they deserved to be sued. Someone had to do something to put an end to the insanity.

Absolutely they did, the message that Christians need to be sending out is a message of love and tolerance, not hate and intolerance. Peace

I do think that one has to ask why was Sodom & Gamora distroyed we all know it was total moral decay, and this is what is happening in the U.S. today total moral decay in all facets of Amarican life, it's become a violent and murderous country and it's inevetable that it will self destruct by it's own hand.
