I've had pain in my taibone for about 1.5 years now. I just turned 15 so I can't take myself to the doctor nor pay for it and my parents don't think it is serious enough to take me. I've tried sitting on my stomach all day for about a week and it did not help much. Is there anyway to make the pain go away permanently myself or do I have to see a doctor for that?

Your parents should have taken you to see a doctor after the pain had bothered you for more than a week. You can have arthritis in your tailbone or you may have a cyst that needs to be drained or removed. No matter what is causing the pain, a doctor needs to evaluate the problem and give you advice for relief.

there was a time when i couldnt even sit, stand, walk, or lay on my back. I had a really bad pain on my tailbone. When i went to the doctor they told me that i had a cyst. They didnt know what caused it. The only way the pain went away was when they had to go in and remove it. I dont know if that is what you have, it is just something that you might want to look into.
