I'm 17 and in and out of the dating field and it seems that my only draw-back is my hieght. Every girl i've ever met has told me that I've got a good personality, a good sense of style, and my looks are perfect. But I seem to feel slightly intimidated around girls due to my hieght. And it's hard to find one shorter than me. For all girls reading this, how does a girl feel around a guy whos short? Is it an issue? Am I just too short?

you're NOT too short.
my brothers 5'6 and hes beautiful! he has no problem with girls because hes confident. its fine. you cant let people know youre self conscious about it. girls will feed off of confidence.
and btw. im 5'1 so thats not too short for someone of my height =)

You're below average height (which is 5'9"-5'10"), but being shorter than average is not a handicap. No one is perfect. Few people are blessed enough to win the genetic lottery. Some women are excessively judgemental about height, but most don't care all that much. Some women prefer shorter guys, everyone has different preferences. Just be confident and don't feel intimidated. Don't be overly confident either, though.

I'm a guy that's not too tall either. I never really had any problem with it. I get all the girls I want. ....Sounds to me that you're putting out some inconfident vibes. I know a lot of tall guys who want to be shorter too.
Everybody wants to change something about themselves...Any gal worth it woundn't think about it either....Your personality is 100% more important than your height. Stop making it an issue!

5'6" isn't that short. There are tons of girls shorter than that. If you are finding girls who are taller than your height, then those are tall girls. You need to find short girls. I've seen a couple where the guy is shorter than the girl and they look happy together. Also, my ex has dated girls that are taller than him and they never cared about his height, though he was short.

It's your shortage in confidence that's the problem, not the shortage of height. Show them that you don't care, and the good ones will love it.
