Your dog needs to see a vet that is knowledgeable about ear infection. There are different causes, and a variety of treatments...only an informed vet can tell you how to treat. Cleaners will not clear up an infection...your dog will need antibiotics or an anti-fungal or both. Some ear infections are caused by yeast, some by bacteria...and there are a number of possible contributing factors: environment, allergies, moisture, and even other illnesses can contribute to ear problems. Please see a vet about this, and if your vet cannot guide you, find one that can.

Well, you need to take the dog to the vet to get the proper medications. Ear cleaner is just that, a cleaner, not antibiotic, which is required to actually cure an ear infection.
See the vet and treat as you are instructed. Then, when ever you give your dog a bath (which should only be a few times a year), put cotton balls just inside the ear, only enuf to hold them there. It will keep the water from getting into the ear canal. We have to do this with our Dachshund when he had ear infection issues several years ago. Proper antibiotic treatments and keeping water out of the ear canal during bath time is what it took to clear them up. It also took several rounds of the antibiotics. So if the first round doesn't fix it, get back to the vet for another dose.

Infections need to be taken care of by taking the dog the vet and getting a prescription. Ear cleaners do not treat infections, hence the name ear CLEANER.
Take your dog to the vet and get it treated befor they get so bad he loses his hearing.

there are a several different kinds of ear infection each requiring a specific medication to clear it up and your vet needs to tell you which kind of infection the dog has.....you are wasting your time and money and causing the dog prolonged pain and suffering by attempting to treat it without proper diagnosis

Take them to the vet and have them do an ear cytology to see what type of bacteria or possibly yeast is growing in your dogs ear. You cant know what type of cleaner or antibiotics to use unless you know what is in their! Good luck!

Try to keep the ear canal clean. Remove as much hair as possible to help keep the area dry. Also my vet told me to make a solution of half white vinegar and half alcohol and use this daily. If it is an infection it won't clear it up but will help cut down on future infections.
