Have you ever prayed for your own healing?

Yes I have and still do. I pray to our God everyday that all my family, friends and co-workers will all be safe from harm. I pray that all Religions have the faith in knowing that God watches over us all. Therefore put on the armor of God, stand firm with the breastplate or righteousness in place,and your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, also the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray on all occasions with all requests and prayers in the Spirit that comes from God. ''Peace be with you E''.

If a god created everything then yes, that would include suffering, pain and illness. However, I don't think that's the case at all, as there's absolutely no indication it's true. I actually think there are far more reasons to be optimistic about humans, although there are still many problems with humankind and its condition. I suppose I see that many of our problems are caused by religions, the divisions they cause, and the negative impact on intellectual progress. So I don't think there's any god to be got in touch with, and we need to sort out our own differences and love each other. We're responsible for our own species, and we have to get it right. Thankfully that improvement is the overall trend throughout most of the world.

Absolutely, what kind of fool would I be if I did not pray for the God I worship to heal me of my affliction...He did not give it to me, nor did anyone else for that matter. But He can HEAL me and will...

I think the majority of us pray for ourselves in certain ways. I have always prayed for others first and then my self.
