I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world.”

It helps if you put all the vs.
Psa 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Ezekiel 39:21, 22; And I will set My glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward.
It is only by the power that God that causes the heathen to know that our Heavenly Father is God. That will be the only language that they understand.
You can read the same thing here in Exodus.
Exd 7:5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

This verse affects each of our lives different, for me it tells me to slow down as I study Gods word, it means for me to slow down and let God work out my problems before I even know I have them. Jesus is my Saviour. He is an Awesome God. If we are patient we will see him working in our lifes. However if we have no patience and we think we can do all things ourselves then you will probably never see him working till something really bad happens because usually when we get way ahead of where God wants us to be we get knocked back for a loop and we have to stop and learn this lesson all over again. At least thats me, Great question though. Thanks,

Your verse made me think of another I like a lot:
Isaiah 41:10
"Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.’"
