I am wanting to dye my hair ebony and blonde together. I want the top part layered blonde and the rest of it at the bottom black. I cant seem to find any photos on the internet with people with that hair style. I need to show my hair stylist exactly how i want it. Any body have any photos they can share with me or can find anything on the internet for me? Sure would appreciate it.

My cousin gets it done all the time.
Here is a picture of her with it, although it's not that great & at an angle, you can still see it somewhat. you can tell the stylist the colors you want, this is just the style.

I have seen the hair dual color you are talking about. Have you tried looking under punk rock hair styles. I know I have seen a web site that shows the dual color I may have seen it either on a tattoo or piecing website. I have also seen Fuchsia color on top and black underneath, I know it might sound weird but it really looks nice. Sorry I can't remember the site, I delete most of the websites I go on when I am done.

omg i am like the coloring and highlighting queen! i see my colorist and stylist on a monthly basis always wanting to try different things and right now my hair is Jet black and is sexy as hell.
oh my little darling, that sounds like a big disaster waiting to happen. whenever you want to do something like that always remember that the dark color must always be at the top and the bottom a lighter color. otherwise it will totally wash you out. you dont want to go tooo dark either, because it will just totally look wrong.
Just tell her that you want two specific colors. You show him/her how much of your top portion you want to be dark and dont ask for black ask for dark chocolate and you want your bottom portion to be a really light brown with lots of blonde highlights to make that bottom portion blonde and make it 2 toned just the way you want it. If you need anything elsse just email me,but trust me, you dont want to be blonde at the top and dark at the bottom.
its almost November, this time of year everyone is going darker. but here is another tip just incase....think about the stylist you have....are they color specialists?? and always ask for permenant color for the dark chocolate color. you dont want it to fade right away, and if your stylist tells you you shouldnt have permenent insist on it. tell her your cousin out of state is a color specialist and she told you to tell your stylist that. but i promise you your hair will look gorgeous if you listen to me. and if you do go through with this remember that it is going to be damaging to your hair so your going to get your hair bleached for the blonde and your hair is going to get colored for the black....
for the blonde get Bed head "dumb blonde" shampoo and conditoner. and for the black find any color treated hair shampoo and conditoner. Redken all soft is amazing and smells great. so when your in the shower seperate your dark hair from the blonde highlighted area and use the different shampoos and conditoners in the areas they are needed!

The girl on "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila," has hair like that I think. Hers is blond on top and black on the bottom!!

I so wanted to do that, if i didnt have to spend 2 hours just to get my hair halfway straight and smooth. I knew exactly what you were talking about, and I'm sure the hairdresser would too...You just want your hair layered, and the top layer platinum,and under side dark...

So what happens as it grows out? Can you play checkers on it?
Ask yourself what it is you want to change in yourself. Is it what God gave you?
Why do people 'install' wringers and tattoos? Or wear weird styles? Is it to show individuality? It only looks like bizarre grafitti. Or is it to demonstrate you hate who you are? Get a life. Get well!
