Does anyone have their nipple pierced, and if so did it hurt? And how bearable or unbearable?

Depends upon your tolerance for pain and the size of your nipples. I am told that it hurts men more than women (small vs. large nipples). I would say that I have an average tolerance for pain. I had both of my (small) nipples pierced. To be honest the pain was not too bad and lasted only a fraction of a second. I let out a controlled "ouch!" on the first nipple, but nothing on the second one. I was told (afterwards) that the second would hurt more than the first, but to be honest I thought that it was about the same, maybe a little less.

They didn't hurt after the piercing and were tender for maybe a week afterwards. I'm now 3 weeks in and feel no pain or tenderness.

If this is something that you want to do, then go and do it, the pain is insignificant in the scheme of things. There are far worse things in life.

i had mine done twice...short story I got it pierced then i had to take it out for x-rays and it closed over so I had to have it re-pierced. To be honest I thought it hurt, more so the second time then the first time. I have 16 piercings (not including teh nipple b/c I ended up having to take it out b/c it was rejecting) and that was one of the more painfully ones. But everyone is different so even though mine hurt doesn't mean it would for you. To me it was bearable. But I don't plan on doing it again.

It was bearable for me. I mean yeah it hurt someone was shoving a needle through a sensitive part of my body, but would I do it again? Absolutely. I would say it was the most painful that I have. It also depends on how thick your nipples are. I knew someone who was in incredible pain and didn't want to move for a day because of it, but I got mine done and then went out and did things during that day. I say if you're brave enough go for it because you will love them.

I can take a lot of pain, believe me!! I got both of mine pierced. The first one felt fine, like it hurt, but it wasn't unbearable. The second one hurt so bad!! I thought something had gone wrong. I wanted to punch my piercer in the face. They throbbed for like the next three days. It was honestly the most painful thing I've been thru.

Good luck if you go thru with it!!

I wrote this story..........http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/08-nipple/A50622/nipmynip.html

I just reread this story, and it says low pain tolerance...it's supposed to say high!! ...oops lol. It's about three years old.

I just got mine done today like 3 hours ago and it really hurt, it hurt so bad that I didnt want to get the other one but the pain goes away after 5min so I got both and it hurts for awhile mine just stopped hurting maybe because I took some pain killers, but the pain was worth it 🙌

i really thought it was going to be sooo painful. i guess i built it up in my head. worked out well b/c it did hurt but i was expecting it to be much, much worse. my friend got her's done in the same breast for the second time and was in so much pain due to the scar tissue from the first time. just make sure you clean it regularly and turn the ring while in the shower so you wont tear the skin.

It's not as bad as you would think hurts for a few seconds when it goes through and only takes a few weeks to heal.

It didn't hurt me but it all depends on how much pain you can take. Most people would say the clamp hurts more then the needle. I just found it uncomfy.
