i installed window vista ultimate..now i cant install windows XP. It keeps freezing on the blue screen (the xp disk is 100% working)

i tried formatting the harddrive, and delete out vista. But somehow i still cant install XP.

windows xp first, then vista. windows xp does not recognize the drive format. make sure u partition the drive first

I did my dual boot in reverse of what you did, I installed xp pro first, then vista ultimate and had no issues at all. I did however have to create a partition for vista to use but you can do that on the fly with the automated disk partitioner in vista.

You can't install two operating systems on one hard drive partition. If you want Windows Vista as well as Windows XP, create a partition on your hard drive and install it on that.

was the computer that u installed it on xp compatible/ did it have a vista sticker on it? make sure everything is compatible and download all drivers.

the graphics driver is incorrect or not loaded

you need to get the manufacturers driver to suit vista, download from the manufacturers website in the support section.
