Dieting web sites and dieting plans are so successful that it's almost a given that anybody can find the perfect free dieting scheme on the internet. Free diet plans are, well, free - you don't pay anything upfront. But many people don’t trust them having a good reason. The famed "cabbage soup diet" or the "3 days diet" are just two random examples of diet plans that will never work and can even be downright dangerous.
So how can you find a sound free diet plan? Is there any such a thing?
The keyword when you're looking for a diet plan is common sense. Use your knowledge and your intuition to pick between the various diets, it's not that hard. For example it would be a good thing to find out right from the start what the right amount of calories you need based on your current weight and daily activity. It's worth noting that even if you are 100 lbs and a complete couch potato, you still need about 1300 calories per day just to stay alive and well.
For most of us, a good dieting plan would do nothing more than give some guidelines on what to eat to stay within the daily limits for calories. And any plan that attempts to tell you that 500 calories per day is good for you won't help you at all.
After decades of dieting, many people have become more knowledgeable and it's easier to say when we are eating something we shouldn't. Any scheme, be it a free diet plan or one especially made for you by a dietician, will take into account that you will be faced with having to eat some no-so-healthy food sooner or later. You never know what will be on the menu at your cousin's wedding party or at that very important dinner meeting with out of town customers.
The next very important thing is to find a diet that can accommodate your favorite foods, even if they are pork chops and fries. You won't be able to diet and feel happy about it if you have to give up everything you like. Incorporating foods you like is beneficial in the long run and it will drastically decrease the danger of binge eating.
And another tricky part you have to take into account when you try a free diet plan is during the day you are most likely to eat. I am yet to find a person who likes to eat very early in the morning and needs to diet. Hey, maybe I'm on to something here!
A good diet plan will make the transition from a dedicated evening eater to a healthy morning eater seem easy and enjoyable. And the whole purpose of a diet plan is to make life and food enjoyable even when it's served in small, healthy bites. Dieting is supposed to be fun, to make you feel happier, healthier and ready to try even more nice new things in your life!

That's what I do. I don't go to gym. Every thing is done at home. For a female of 5' 5", the ideal weight is between 120lbs and 138 lbs depending on your build. You could be more healthy if you could lose about 40 pounds. At 3500 calories per pound, that's equal to about 140000 calories, which is a lot to lose. But believe me, it can be done with patience and perseverance, given proper time frame, without rushing. I think you will be comfortable losing no more than 500 calories a day for about 280 days or 9 months.
Here is what I would think will work for you. Cut on fatty foods and sugary foods. Substitute more of lean meats and foods which have more protein than fat content, such as grilled chicken breast, fish etc. and beans, peas etc which also have fiber. Also practice cutting out 1 meal of the day. Try fasting for a day once or twice a month. Of course balanced food and good rest are a must. Don't let any thing slow you down in school; you should concentrate on getting good grades also.
Once you have a plan to control your intake, you can do the exercises that burn your fat content and shape your body, tummy, glutes, thighs etc. For overall fat burning, I found 1 hour of jogging or 1/2 hour of running 4 to 5 days a week are the best; I do it around my house and don't even go on the street. By doing that, you can burn upto 500 calories right there.
Second, to shape the tummy, I do crunches( both straight & oblique) 50 to 100 a day ( may be like 3 sets of 20 reps each) for 4 to 5 days a week. I also do the same number of v-sits and lunges.
Third, to get the glutes and thighs in shape, I do about 50 to 100 ( same reps and sets as above) of squats, step climbs and foot raises for your calf muscles- of course 4 to 5 days a week. Sounds like a lot to do! Don't worry. If you sit down and put your mind to it, you can integrate both school and workout and come up with a plan of doing it.
Always listen to your body. If something is real hurting, just skip a day or two; don't push it and overdo it, you may damage muscle than build it. If legs and body hurt, after a workout, I always used hot water tub to sit in for about 15 minutes. It takes time. Slow and steady practice gives you permanent results than if you do it in a hurry and are forced to back off later. You are young and your muscle should not give you any trouble to do the routine above. When I was young, I wanted every thing to be done NOW. NO. Give yourself enough time and exercise your will and persist. You Will Succeed. Wish You the Best.

It's good to see you taking charge of your health.
Here's some basic things that will help you:
5 small meals a day- 250 calories each
eat meal should include a fruit and veggie
eat whole grains, not refined
limit your chocolates/unhealthy snacks to one small one (100 calories or less) or none at all if you can
make sure your protein is lean (cut the fat off chicken, use 90% lean ground beef, etc)
your mom or dad should be able to help you find these foods at the grocery store
30 mins of cardio (running around the block, up and down your stairs, jump roping, etc) 5 days a week
30 mins of weight training 3 days a week (buy like 5 or 10 pound hand weights and lift in your room)
Good luck!

You eat less.Reduce the quanitity to minimum. There are many indoor exercises like bending down and touching your toes 100 times, twice daily etc.Skipping is good.Start doing house hold work and start helping your mother. You wash dishes without dishwasher.Switch off washing machine and revert to hand washing of all dress and cloth.Clean floor manually. These save money and also will improve your figure.
The next step is do not use lift.Climb as much possible. For short trips use bicycle or better WALK
The last thing you have to do is to tell daily, yourself 100 times "I am getting slim, slim and slimmer day by day "before you go to bed.Try this and result will be surprising.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Well if you don't want to join a gym but want to work out at home you have a lot of diff options. You can still do a lot of cardio, pilates, or yoga.
For cardio the BEST and MOST effective way to burn fat is to run as soon as you wake up. Your body stores fat as you go to sleep and if you run b4 breakfast in the morning it will burn off excessive stored fat. Proven fact.
Also you can try pilates and yoga at home with a floor mat and ball. I don't do , but i know by word of mouf by other girls that they are highly effective.
And the obvious, eat well. Low fat foods and less carbs. Common sense stuff, like no potatoe chips or high in sugar and salt.
I do recommend joining a gym since mucle burns fat, but its your choice. good luck!
