Answer seems a bit moot but you obviously need to see an Orthopaedic Surgeon, There are various methods and procedures including physical therapy, traction, fusion and aspiration to deal with herniated disks depending on what is found on investigation and the preferrence of the Surgeon.

No one here can really tell you what else you should be doing as they have no idea of the extent of the issue or exact location ( I assume Sacral Lumbar)

So...short answer is....See a Doc

Nothing, unless it's causing lots of pain.I'm 28 years old already had 2 back surgeries with no relief at all.I have 3 bad levels of herniated disks and another 2 of bulging disks. The more doctors do something the harder it gets to treat it and worst it gets.Chiropractor screwed me up even more with all the cracking, epidurals are not good for you,all narcotic pain killers started other health problems.Lot of people have bulging disk and they don't even feel the pain.

Definitely go see the Chiropractor ASAP. In the mean time, take anti-inflammatory meds like Ibuprofen and do several rounds of heat for 10 mins and then ice for 10 mins always ending with the heat. If you do it for an hour ywice a day, you will be able to move much better and have less pain. Also take 2000mg a Vit C. Vit C helps to make collagen which is made in your discs for cusion. It is amazing how it works. Take care!

go see a neurologist to confirm diagnosis, then consult a physical therapist and do what they say,

my experience provided instant pain relief during therapy-this is after spending one month with an orthopedic surgeon, epidural injections and numerous pain medications that provided zero relief (many thanks to managed health care, I suffered needlessly for a little over a month with two herniated disks)

You should go to an orthopedic surgeon for x-rays and his recommendation as this can cause great pain if it isn't treated properly.
