Well tanning isnt the best, period. I'm sure you already know the dangers so me listing them isnt going to detour you from doing it anyway :] I would suggest tanning in a bed. Its better actually because its in a controlled environment and you can start out on a lower time and work your way up. You never know the intensity of the sun on any given day so you could get severely burnt. Also, if you do plan on tanning in a bed, always ALWAYS use tanning lotion! It speeds up your tan, keeps it longer, and helps keep your skin moisturized so it will stay nice n' soft!

Tanning bed is way worse...I think I was told that 20 minutes in a tanning bed is about 3 hours out in the sun.

Tanning Bed for sure. I don't know what country you live in but in Australia, there has a been alot of media coverage about this girl who got skin cancer after using tanning beds. She ended up dying a couple of weeks ago. Try using tanning sunscreen.

It depends, if you are just laying in the sun for a bit to get a shade, tanning beds are worse, but if you are out in the sun for long periods of time the sun can potentionaly be more dangerous

tanning bed is by far better then natural tanning (period). when you go to a salon the amount of UV you receive is regulated and carefully controlled. if you go to a reputable place you will never burn and end up with a great tan every time. natural tanning is imposable to regulate, thus you always wind up burnt. not to mention natural tanning is also time consuming and if you're like me... try getting a tan in NY in November lol!

Both bad. Sorry but that's the truth. Protect your skin while you are young. Use sunblock and moisturizers, and keep it clean. And, don't smoke. Smoking causes facial wrinkling and premature aging second only to prolonged unprotected exposure to the sun. (Ever see those ladies with the wrinkles on the upper lip, between the lip and the nose? Cigarettes.) Take care of your skin now, and you will be very glad you did, later.

i think the tanning beds are worse, sometimes the sun can be good for you! anything that turns you tanner in 10 minutes is probably not good

id say tanning bed because its pouring directly on you and you can put at least a little sunscreen on and still get a tan if you are outside

None
it's called skin cancer
and plus tanning is gross and ruins your skin
fine if you want to look forty at twenty
