This is what I believe. There is 1 God. My God, the God of the Bible had a Son. The god of the Quran has no son. Therefore, both gods cannot be the same.

The Quran regards Jesus as a prophet and goes so far as to comment "peace be upon him" when his name is spoken. The Quran said Jesus was a prophet but not God.

Prophets can't lie. Jesus said he was God.

So the Quran has a problem.

If Jesus is really telling the truth, and prophets don't lie, then He is God and the Quran is wrong for saying he is not God.

If Jesus is lying about being God, then he can't be a prophet because prophets don't lie. Therefore, the Quran is wrong to call him a prophet if he lies.

Maybe Jesus was just a lunatic for saying he was God. If so, how can the Quran call a lying lunatic a prophet?

But Muslims say the Quran is never wrong. So, how do Muslims explain this dilemma?

Concerning the virgin birth of Christ born of Mary. This is what the QURAN says....

21:91 AND [remember] her who guarded her chastity, whereupon We breathed into her of Our spirit [87] and caused her, together with her son, to become a symbol [of Our grace] unto all people. [88]

66:12 And [We have propounded yet another parable of God-consciousness in the story of] Mary, the daughter of Imran, [24] who guarded her chastity, whereupon We breathed of Our spirit into that [which was in her womb], [25] and who accepted the truth of her Sustainer’s words - and [thus,] of His revelations [26] - and was one of the truly devout.

How many humans were born like this, of a woman who guarded her chastity? Even the QURAN shows Christ was the only person ever born this way, of a virgin. Not even Mohammed was born in this manner. Yet muslims still reject Jesus.

I don't believe in it, because I have read it and read the hadiths, and am convinced that Muhammad was a typical cult leader, perhaps schizophrenic, perhaps demon-possessed. He advocated assassinations, thievery, idolatry, lying, pedophilia, rape, slavery, torture and genocide. These are not independant opinions, these are documented in the Islamic holy scripture.

It only takes a drop of cyanide to make a delicious drink deadly.

I am very familiar with the god of Moses and Jesus, and I am familiar enough with Allah to know that they are not the same.

I have found the teachings in the Koran to be two-dimensional, bereft of depth and meaning. It is either mindlessly repetitious or pathetically juvenile. Oh, but I'm told it must be read in the original arabic! The Bible's message is universal, it's truth speaks to the heart regardless of what language it's translated to. It is a message for mankind, not just for a group of bedouins.

How can you say you believe in the koran and the bible? You cannot have read the Bible if you claim this, because in many ways these two belief systems are mutually exclusive. This was Muhammad's problem with the jews of Medina: They knew their torah, and therefore they knew that Muhammad was a false prophet and rejected him.

Mais, your argument is foolish bordering on idiocy. Allah prevents me from believing in the Koran? Why on earth would he do that? So I am to be condemned to hell, because your god won't let me see the truth? That is the most asinine abuse of logic I have ever encountered.

Jews believe in the Torah and Tanakh and nothing newer.

Christians believe in the Torah, Tanakh and New Testament.

Muslims believe in the Torah, Tanakh and New Testament with a different slant and the Quran.

Each do not believe "newer books" than those they accept.

If you as a Muslim can not understand it, ask your self this, why do you not believe the Book of Mormon as it is just a newer holy book than yours.

When you can answer that, you will know why Christians do not believe in the Quran and Muhammad.

Also Muhammad was an illiterate camel riding child molesting warlord who taught exactly opposite of Jesus.

Jesus was a man of peace. Muhammad was a warlord and the founder of Jihad.

Muslims believe in Injeel(which was revealed unto Jesus)..but not in todayz bible which has been contaminated by other people...though some part of todayz bible which is consistent with the Quran might be preserved in its pure form, but not the whole of it.
Holly Holly! however, even being a Muslim,i agree with the statement of John 14:6.Jesus was the true way to get to God in his times....But Jesus didnt say "I am God"...In order to lead a life according to God's will,Jesus had to be followed bcoz Jesus was the prophet at his time....but today we have to follow Muhammad PBUH.As Jesus has also said in the Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14:

"I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth shall
come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me".

The Sprit of Truth, spoken about in this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

We Christians can't accept the Quran and Muhammad any more easily than a Muslim can accept the Bible as the whole truth and that Jesus is the Messiah.
The two belief systems contadict eachother.
I also have trouble with the fact that the Quran was written long after the Bible. and many things from the Bible were plagerized and put into the Quran.
Not meaning any disrespect here, but you did ask.

Muslims do not believe in the New Testament. A muslim told me that he did not need anyone dying for his sins and Jesus was not his Messiah.....
Muhammad was a mad man.....marrying children 6 years old and drinking urine.....and so many other crazy things....

Because we believe Muhammad is not the prophet of God of the Bible.

The Bible was here first. Muhammad took a lot of stuff from the Bible to make his book.
