"My destiny" by Katherin McPhee.
Watch this youtube video and listen to the song. It's an extraordinary clip from the movie Ice Princess and the song is perfect.

Yes, what you're feeling is very normal. My mom died when I was 16. Mom was 41, died of lung cancer five months after we found out. She died in June on Father's Day, he remarried the same year in Dec 11th. It is very hard for children to accept. But, the dad's feel like, "life goes on." At least your dad is asking for your feeling about seeing his new girl friend. It will take you time to get used to all of this. There will never, ever be anyone to take your Mom's place!

My mom told me that she wants to dance with me at my wedding to "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride. But I plan on dedicating "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" by Elton John to her because when I was little I would stand on a chair and dance with her when it came on the radio. If you have a special song or something that reminds you of a special time in your life, it might make a nice tribute to your mom to use that song.

My suggestion to you both would be to play a song that symbolizes the relationship and how strong it is. I know that it will be tough to choose a song but I played in my daughters eyes for my Mom and she cried
