♥♫ I'm IN.
I'm assuming by the nature of your question, that you're not someone who's going to be rude and obnoxious and insult me assuming that i must be an uneducated idiot because i believe in Jesus. This sounds like an acceptable, respectable debate. So, you're on.
I am interested to hear your side of the argument. I already know mine. I look forward to hearing from you.

*edit* shiniagami's answer was funny LOL.

Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

How would you like to begin?

I suggest starting at a place of mutual respect for each other's beliefs.

BTW, I grew up in an Orthodox Jewish home, and my older brother is a Chassidik L'buvitch Rabbi. I became a Christian in my mid 20's. It's a long story, but suffice it to say that I was at a low point in my life, and someone offered to pray for me. I figured talking to a dead man wouldn't amount to a hill of beans, but I was still worried that G-d would not be very pleased with me for this. But I went ahead and said OK. Well, Bryan prayed, and within 1/2 a minute, I felt a power that can not be described overwhelm my entire being. I felt every fiber in my body cry out that this Jesus (Yeshua) was, indeed, the Messiah (Meshiach) that our people had been waiting for all these years!!! I was practically knocked off my feet, and when the initial shock of this "revelation" (for lack of a better term) began to wear down, all I could do was say "uh - oh - uh - oh - ok". The moment I said "ok", I could literally feel a flood of love, power and forgiveness overflowing my body, inside and out. I felt clean for the first time since I was a child, and I truly felt what can only be described as the power of God as you might imagine it if you were in the middle of the burning bush, and not just staring at it as Moses did! My life was changed (for the better, I must point out), and I've never been the same since. Ever since then, I have done some of my own research, and have discovered many, Many, MANY Scriptures (and I'm talking about the JEWISH Scriptures, mind you!) That dictate the format (template, if you will) that the Meshiach must meet. They include WHEN Meshiach would come (Daniel talks about that), WHERE he is to be born (the prophet Micah talks about that), even HOW he is to be born (Isaiah the prophet talks about that, and many other things to look for). Now, contrary to contemporary Rabbis, the Messiah, according to Isaiah, had a two-fold ministry, not just coming in the clouds with the 10,000's of the saints, as another prophet foretold, but first coming "as a lamb to the slaughter". Both Isaiah AND Daniel tell how he was to be some kind of "sin bearer". I don't understand it, I can't fully explain it, but I must adhere to it, because it is in OUR Scriptures. Isaiah gets VERY bold, and gives us a description of his Title, which - for some very strange and unaccountable reason - is NEVER translated into English!!! "And a child shall be born, and a son shall be given, and of the increase of his government there shall be no end. And his name shall be called 'Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty G-d, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Again, I can't explain this, but I must believe it. If you read through the 53rd chapter of the book of the prophet Isaiah, you see two pronouns, "he" and "our". I don't know why, but the rabbis, in the last few centuries, changed "our" to "their", and "he" to "we", implying that the people of Israel was to bear the iniquities of the goyim. But the actual Hebrew text indicates that "HE" would bear the iniquities of "US" (the Jewish people). You should try reading it for yourself.

Well, in any case, my part of the debate is over. I've shared my perspective, at least in part - since there are many MANY more Scripture passages that need to be pointed out, but now the ball is in YOUR court. The podium and microphone (proverbially speaking, of course) is now yours.

Please don't just simply discount what I've said. The Rabbis will discount everything I've said and find excuses why they are not true, but you need to find out for your self. Jeremiah the prophet said, speaking in the name of the L-rd, "If you seek for me, then you shall find me, when you search for me with all of your heart, and I SHALL be found of you, saith the L-RD." Seek G-d with an honest heart, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you with all true sincerity. I can't tell you HOW, WHERE, or how LONG you'll have to wait, but you owe it to yourself to do at LEAST that much if you are to be faithful to the Jewish religion, the G-d of our fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

G-d bless you as you seek.

Sure, I'm not extremely knowledgable though. But more than one point of view on it is good.
Bring it on.

You can debate it until the pork comes home but it won't make you a Christian.
