Yeah, I checked Wikipedia and it said that just today (Oct. 31st) Konami issued a statement saying that Metal Gear Solid 4 was pushed back again until mid-2008 so that the game would come out the same time in Asia, Europe, and the United States also, Konami confirmed the exclusivity of the game to the PS3, so the Xbox 360 are squashed completely. I bet they were down on their knees every night praying that MGS 4 would come to the 360!
I know that rapper 50cent did the same thing earlier this year with his album. His CD was supposed to come out in June 2007 and then he delayed it until September so that the CD would come out the same day in all territories.
Man, this totally sucks. The only thing that would make me more frustrated is if Grand Theft Auto 4 got delayed again or if Killzone 2 got delayed.

MGS4 will release the second quarter of 08. This is not a bad thing, it just means that the game will be more immersing, and more enjoyable to play. I'm sure that konami could release MGS4 right now and have it be just great, but I'm sure that Hideo Kojima wants it to be perfect. Wait, and you'll get the perfect game.

On all the articles i read about MGS4's release date say that it has to come out before 30th march 2008 and if u look it up on amazon u can pre-book it and the release date it says on it is 30th march 2008. konami has a contract or something. they'll loose money if they dont have it out by this time (30th march 2008)
i can wait till it cums out aswell

Chill, everyone knows Kojima is a perfectionist. And there's Burnout paradise, GT5:prologue, Devil may cry 4, brothers in arms, etc.... all due at the start of next year.
