Bring a bag with ear plugs, binoculars, race scanner (you can rent one at the track if needed), chapstick, rain gear, sun block, and a credential holder for your ticket. Also take your driver's license in just in case of an accident. You know, like somebody drunk falling down and taking you down with them, lol. You are only allowed ONE bag usually, and your merchandise bag counts as the one bag. So, you will need to put your boughten items in your bag. Also, they won't usually let you bring beverages that are not in a cooler if you are allowed a cooler. The Kansas race this year they let us bring a little cooler, and last year they didn't. You will have to check with the track. If they do allow a cooler, see if you can fit a sandwich or something. A simple hamburger can be as much as $7 at the track. Figure $4 for a bottle of soda, and $7 for a 24 oz. can of beer. Very expensive to eat and drink there.
