Is it a sin to run around with a costume on and recieve free candy? (Well...)
But probably. However, in real life, most people ignore sins. Yes, christians/catholics/others in church or another holy place do recognize their sins and if they are sinning, but usually people do not keep the question 'Am I sinning?' at the top of their priority list. In the real world, no. In the religious world, very much.

No.
Despite claims that Halloween is a pagan holiday, all of its traditions are derived from the Christian observance of All Hallows Eve, the night before All Saints Day. Most of the traditions that people associate with ancient paganism are actually very recent in origin, and date to just a couple of centuries ago.

well you see...im a muslim. and in my holy book....it says that halloween is a sin. because a long time ago....the people used to give there souls to the devils on this day. but the people that were scared just dressed up and put scary things in thier yards and stuff to chase the devil away....BUT IT IS A SIN! even giving candy to little kids. so just keep ur door shut and ignore the bell...thats if ur religious!

Yes, we are not to look or act like the world, especially on halloween. This is a satanic day and we are not to have anything to do with it. If you do dress up, ask for forgiveness.

Do you feel like the Holy Spirit is convicting you? If you do, then you do not need to do it then.
If not then you need to know that it is not a sin to dress up and go door to door and ask for candy.
As long as you are not dressing up as anything that is deemed 'evil', or dressing provocatively.

Sinning? No.
Sinning=The deliberate disobedience to the known will of God.
I don't think putting on a costume (be it scary or cute) and walking door to door asking for treats is sinning. Do you??

No.
You are not worshipping anyother God.
As long as you are not pulling pranks or smashing pumpkins, Halloween is just fun and games. Dress up, have a nice time!
