when you ask someone what someone looks like and they say, well they look good in the dark, what do they mean?

Usually it means their an eye sore. In the dark i.e. you can't see them so that means they lookm better that way.
In some contexts it could mean they look good naked...
But, I imagine since you asked it this way it most likely was the latter :)

Well, you can't really determine that I guess, I don't think that you can trust anyone's opinion of another person if they say he/she looks good in the dark. How about asking them how he/she looks during the daytime?

Ummm, duh, You can't see someone in the dark, so the person who told you this must of been in the dark and had something to do with this person who "looks good in the dark". So that means the person is prob ugly

well, i think they mightve been being sarcastic- when youre in the dark, you can't see anything, so that kind of sayin that when you're NOT in the dark, you don't look good. so maybe they were sayin they were ugly??
