--Nothing and no one should lead us to deny the existence of God. Once we know God and the gospel, we have no excuse. To whom much is given, much is required; to whom little is given, little is required. We cannot go around blaming others for our actions towards God. If we reject The Lord, it is our responsibility.
There are some people in church who are 'spiritually ill'. Meaning that we might encounter people who will be bad examples, who might betray us, or even hurt us. Just because someone goes to church, it does not mean that they are saints; they have a daily struggle with temptations like the rest of us.
This is why we need to focus on Christ only. If the congregation is judgmental and love does not reign among them; then, its time to look for another church. Yes, those people will be responsible for the lost souls. And The Lord will judge them according to their works, if they have not repented.

The life of the church has been confused since the Bible was constructed by Roman and Jewish numbskulls who gave no credence to the pre-eminence of Jesus' minstry as Teacher and Priest.
The day the Bible was offically 'decreed' as the canon is the day when Jesus was unceremoniously dethroned as the Lord of All and forced to bow down to the absurd scriptures of sinners. The Jews and the Romans made Christ a sandwich filler for their twisted theology.
The various church traditions and dogmas that have evolved from this atrociously conceived book has kept believers bound in a hellish state of inner conflict ever since. The doctrinal nonsense that has been received as 'truth' from the so-called 'forefathers of the church' has made millions of Christians twice the sons and daughters of hell than they were before.
The only teacher in this world and in heaven, is Jesus. The only priest in this world and in heaven, is Jesus. The rest are thieves and robbers.
Any believer has direct access to the Holy Spirit (whom Jesus has authority to send to you) who will teach you everything you need to know by explaining the meaning of His words direct to your spirit. Any believer has direct access to Jesus as the Priest whose words keep you free from sin.
Earthly priests and earthly teachers will screw up your mind especially if they use the Bible as their authority. A book devised in Hell to totally obscure the singularity and eternal significance of Jesus' VOICE.
To answer your question:
Get out of any church that worships the BIble and seek people who worship Jesus Christ.
The Bible is a hindrance to the work of Christ and He will be throwing it into the pit when He comes.

My life as a Christian has taught me that God is serious when he says "Judge not lest you be judged". It is appropriate to decide whether or not you choose to be with someone whose behavior you can not condone. It is not appropriate to place yourself in a position to judge that person. My friend often says, "love the sinner, hate the sin." God will judge us all on our behaviors..Christian, Jew, Moslem et al.

Definitely. Jesus said, "Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others" - Matthew 7,3
St. Paul had the same words for Christians who persecute other Christians.
"So then, let us stop judging one another. We must always aim at those things that bring peace and that help strengthen one another." (Romans 14, 13a.19)

Yes. Without a doubt. I just read the article on the "Christians" who have been staging protests at funerals for soldiers and have been carrying banners that say things like "God hates fags". I swear. If anybody will see the wrath of God it will be them.

God's response can be summed up in three little but really powerful words: God Loves All.
s/he does not care what you have done, when you did it or why you did it. God loves you unconditionally and without limits. God might not like what you do, but he is always there for you when you turn to him.
That is faith.

I would say yes.
Since it was man who twisted God's "words" to give credence to their unrully actions. War in the name of God? Are you kidding?

YES!!! God will punish us for how we treat others-all others. It's not for us to judge BUT I wonder about those who hinder others. When people keep others from the house of God,faith, salvation, etc. It really bothers me. But vengeance is mine says the Lord.

Do you mean "Will God judge...?" Yes, and they'll be dealt with according to their deeds. I dislike the word "punish" because, in the final scenario, we create our own eternities.
