All of the above, and 4: @ssholes. Sorry for the profanity, Uncle. But that's what I think they are.

I find that I usually get those violation notices after I send a question to voting.
I think 1, 3 and 4(religious zealots who think they are doing God's work on Earth)

It could not be 2, because I am not at all friendly.

Note, I am not talking about the ones I post that could be thought of as offensive, just those that are not offensive.

No, believe or not, I do not get very many violations. I am sure that my questions are very offensive to certain groups. But what they do not understand, that because there is no voice attached to these questions, it is more the "ear of the beholder" that takes these questions as hate. They are so prepared to be hated, that they do not see when someone is not really hating them at all.

I do not feel that I need to report other questions than pornographic avatars and very clear violations. Not a difference of the opinion.

I did. It was an actual legitimate question.

I'm not really sure who would report it.

It was asking:

Christians, what do you think is the root of all evil, disobedience to God, greed, or pride?

That was it. There was a good discussion and was on there for awhile.

My retarded questions on the other hand stay up.

I would pick #5 - all the above including Hypno's #4.

I think it's all of the above plus people who work for Yahoo who don't appear to be dealing with a full deck themselves.
I live close to Sunnyvale where their office is located and I can assure you that the people around here are extremely Liberal and easily offended.

I had 2 last week,
1 had 15 positive answers. the other had 35 answers with ony 2 that didn't understand the question.

I think that any time you challenge someone mental capacities, they hit the report button.

A lot recently.

4. People who report questions that don't have to do with R&S, even thought they are directed at the people in R&S. Stupid people who follow the letter of the law exactly. lol

I asked "if Jesus was in a rock band what would he name it" ... and that q survives... I asked "If Allah was in a rock band what would he name it"... and that question prompted a report and removal.

I appealed and got a nice note back from a yamster thanking me for bringing it to their attention ... but the question remains removed.. and I haven't got any points back.

I therefore think the answer is .. 3: Low mentals who did not understand my question.

Yes, I was quoting a bible scripture and asked someone to fill in the blank of the last word and it got removed after a violation. I protested, but got no where. I didn't know the bible was something you couldn't quote on here.

It's inevitable for folks that spend a long time here.
I'd say a bit of 1. and 3.
