I know this is a crazy question.. but i am having a problem at work... i am 27 years old... i go into work at 7 am (i pee in the morning of course).. I dont have much to drink maybe a sip of something here and there. I have to pee by 8 am , 9:30 am, 11 am and 1:15 pm, then in the afternoon is fine. Now my problem is that my breaks are at 9:30, 1:15, and 2:30. I am afraid that i am going to get into trouble with having too many bathroom breaks. and they wont move my breaks ( yeah my work sucks, they said they cant be moved cause of call volume). now does anyone have any clue or ideas on what i can do to hold my pee longer? or anything that i can take? I drink water at night but i figure that liquid would be coming out of my system by morning. and in the after noon i am fine,,, it is so strange....thanks for the help.

You don't have an UTI yet, but if you continue to hold it you eventually will get a urinary tract infection and have kidney problems, see your doctor and have urinalysis ran there is a reason for the frequent urination and maybe you can talk about preventive measures in the meantime and maybe he can give your job an work excuse until all of the results are in. good luck sweetie i use to work in a call center and its clear they dont care but your health is more important.

I used to have that problem when I worked. Most of the time I realized I could hold peeing longer than i expected, and the longer i tried, the longer I could go. worringy about how long your breaks are from the length of time that you usually can hold pee makes it so much worse. You almost sound like me because i take water pills for high blood pressur because by afternoon the frequent peeing stops. 2 ideas, try to wake up a little earlier, or there are pelvic muscle exercises that will help with frequent urination. You can find them online. Sometimes just convincing yourself that you are thinking too much about how long till you can reach the bathroom will make you feel you have to pee more. Sometimes it's just mind over matter.

You can do exercises to help. WHen you feel the urge, hold your pee for 15 minutes, during this time do pelvic floor exercises- pretend something is in your baby hole and grip it. Hold each grip for about 30 sec. Once you can hold for 15 min easy, increase to 30 min etc.

I couldnt work were you do, I drink soooo much, I pee like every half an hour.

Talk with a doctor. Try some Keigal exercises. Not sure of the spelling. It's pronounced kee-gul. Practice. If you don't have a health issue, then exercise and practice. It'll take time, but you will get there. Rule out medical reasons first. Practice and exercise anyway. It has other benefits.

Detrol LA. Maybe you are having bladder spasms and need to calm that bladder down just a little bit.

Good luck. I know the problem and feel your pain. Do not dehydrate your self over it...that will cause more problems.

You may want to see a doctor called a urologist. That doctor specializes in treatment with bladder issues. That doctor may be able to help rule out any problems or tell you if their is one. Their are medications that can help but it depends on your condition. Hope this helps
