adultery (Leviticus 20:10)
homosexual behavior (Leviticus 20:13)
kidnapping (Exodus 21:16)
loving anything more than God (Leviticus 20:2)
occult practices (Exodus 22:18)
pre-marital sex (Leviticus 21:9)
not observing the Sabbath (Numbers 15:32-36)
striking or slandering a parent (Exodus 21:15, 17)
Makes you wonder, who would be left to pull the last trigger, huh?
Look, the Old Testament is not meant to be taken literally anymore. It was a guideline for folks before the time of Christ who needed firm laws and regulations to guide them. The NEW Testament is new for a reason. It is supposed to be a replacement of the OLD testament's draconian rule set by the sacrifice of Christ.

The "Death" the Bible speaks of is an iternal death of your soul, or eternity in hell. As for a person being able to put someone to death for working on sabbath or being gay, Jesus tells us "He who is without sin cast the first stone. "

Do you have to be homosexual and work on the sabbath ? I work on the sabbath but am not homosexual so If I was ever tempted to be homosexual does that mean I will have to give up my work ? Would I then be able to claim benefits as I would have been forced to give up work on the sabbath because of my sexual orientation and the sexual discrimination law would kick into force if I didn't...... gosh its a complicated life

Disobeying your parents, getting a haircut, cursing...
"I think that there is a verse in there about people that ask stupid, irrelevant questions should being ptut to death as well." Touche! Jessica's a real old-time revivalist!
BTW, I love "The wages of sin is death," not only for the grammar, but because the "proof" of it is that we all die because we're all sinners. Now there's an airtight argument...lol.

All sin is punishable by death..all sin will take you to Hell if you do not turn from your sin and accept the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross..There is no other way to be forgiven and have your sins covered....Although homosexuality and Pride are the only two sins,,,,God ever called abominations...you want go to Hell any faster then people who commit other sins...say gluttony for instance, child molestation,,,,murder,,,,if you don't know the things that are sin,,,I suggest you read the bible....

Paul points out that the fruit of the law; all of the commandments, is death. And as James points out, to break one point of the law was to be guilty of all.
So if you think we should be carrying out the sentence of the law, you might as well start with yourself.

Read Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy for a long, long list.
Adultery is one, rape is one, blasphemy, certain incestuous behaviors, and "passing your seed through the fire as an offering to Molech." Those are a few.
